I want to suggest a book to you, its called boundaries by Dr. Henry Cloud and Dr. John Townsend, I think that this will help you, and be a teaching tool for your life.
Dear heavenly father I pray for this person, you see every tear that has fallen from this person's eyes. You know what this person seeks and longs after, would you cause this person to become aware of their heart's motivations, so that this person can turn to you and purposely pray for what he or she needs.
Lord show this person as you have shown me that, this person's need for love, for approval and for affirmation can only be found in you, and only you. Set this person free from this person's need for approval, and love from others, draw this person's heart, and spirit to yourself and fill them up with yourself.
Help this person not to resist your Holy Spirit as you call this person to yourself, release this person to seek you and call out to you, and then accept what you have for him/her.
Father so many times we go and seek to get what we need from others, when it can only be found in you. As this person seeks your heart draw them near to yourself, Jesus and heal their heart, and teach them a new way of operating so that they may guard their heart diligently and not allow other people to dump on them.
release this person from the guilt, and bring them to real repentance, which is so freeing, and allow them to see that when you set us free, we are free indeed.
Please Lord embrance this person right where they are, as this person reads this prayer may this person sense your presence, and healing, and help them to walk in that presence today and every day. Give peace were there is anxiousness.
Thank you God because you are awesome, you say that you discipline those you love, thank you God for loving us.
