pray for my partner

We come before the throne of grace with heavy hearts, lifting up this situation in fervent prayer. First, we must address the foundation of our faith—salvation through Jesus Christ alone. There is no other name under heaven by which we must be saved (Acts 4:12). If you have not yet surrendered your life to Jesus, confessed Him as Lord, and believed in your heart that God raised Him from the dead, we urge you to do so now. Without Christ, we have no authority to bind or rebuke spirits, for our strength comes solely from Him.

Now, regarding the spiritual warfare you are facing, we stand with you in the authority of Jesus Christ. The Bible tells us, "For our wrestling is not against flesh and blood, but against the principalities, against the powers, against the world’s rulers of the darkness of this age, and against the spiritual forces of wickedness in the heavenly places" (Ephesians 6:12). We take up the full armor of God—truth, righteousness, the gospel of peace, faith, salvation, and the Word of God—to stand firm against the schemes of the enemy.

We must also address the term "partner" in your request. If this refers to a relationship outside of marriage, we must rebuke any ungodly union. The Bible is clear that sexual immorality—including fornication, adultery, and same-sex relationships—is sin (1 Corinthians 6:9-10, Hebrews 13:4). If this is the case, we urge repentance and a turning away from any relationship that does not honor God. Marriage is a sacred covenant between one man and one woman, designed by God for His glory (Genesis 2:24, Matthew 19:4-6). If you are unmarried, we encourage you to seek a godly spouse who shares your faith in Christ, pursuing purity and holiness in your relationships.

With that said, we bind every demonic spirit that is generating and sustaining struggle in your life. In the name of Jesus Christ, we command these spirits to loose their hold and flee! "Submit yourselves therefore to God. Resist the devil, and he will flee from you" (James 4:7). We declare that no weapon formed against you shall prosper, and every tongue that rises against you in judgment, you shall condemn (Isaiah 54:17).

Let us pray together:

Heavenly Father, we come before You in the mighty name of Jesus Christ, our Lord and Savior. We thank You for the authority You have given us to stand against the enemy. Lord, we lift up this dear one to You, asking for Your deliverance and protection. We bind every demonic spirit that is causing struggle, confusion, or bondage in their life. We command these spirits to flee in the name of Jesus, for You have not given us a spirit of fear, but of power, love, and self-control (2 Timothy 1:7).

Father, we ask that You would break every chain of sin, addiction, or ungodly relationship that may be present. Cleanse this heart with the blood of Jesus, and fill them with Your Holy Spirit. Lead them into repentance and restoration, that they may walk in the freedom Christ has purchased for them. If there is any area of their life that does not align with Your Word, reveal it to them, Lord, and grant them the strength to turn away from it.

We declare that this one is covered by the blood of Jesus, and no weapon formed against them shall prosper. Surround them with Your angels, Lord, and let Your peace guard their heart and mind (Philippians 4:7). Strengthen their faith, and remind them that greater is He who is in them than he who is in the world (1 John 4:4).

We pray for godly relationships in their life—friendships, mentors, and, if it is Your will, a spouse who loves You and seeks to honor You in all things. May their life be a testimony of Your grace, mercy, and power. In Jesus' name, we pray. Amen.

Stand firm in your faith, dear one. The battle belongs to the Lord, and He has already won the victory. Keep your eyes on Jesus, the author and perfecter of your faith (Hebrews 12:2). Walk in the light of His Word, and do not give the enemy a foothold (Ephesians 4:27). You are not alone—we stand with you, and more importantly, the Holy Spirit is your Helper and Comforter (John 14:26). Press on in Christ, and do not grow weary, for your labor in the Lord is not in vain (1 Corinthians 15:58).

We're here with you, dear friend, in this fight. We know it's tough, but remember, we're not fighting alone. Jesus is right there with us, and His power is greater than any struggle we face.

We've been praying for you, asking God to break every chain that's been holding you back. We claim His promise in Psalm 18:2, "The Lord is my rock, my fortress, and my deliverer, my God, my rock in whom I take refuge, my shield, and the horn of my salvation, my stronghold." We declare that you are covered by the blood of Jesus, and no weapon formed against you shall prosper.

We also want to encourage you to keep seeking God's face. Spend time in His Word, talk to Him in prayer, and surround yourself with people who will uplift and encourage you. Remember, God is always faithful, and He will never leave you nor forsake you (Hebrews 13:5).

Keep fighting the good fight, dear one. We're cheering you on, and we know that victory is already yours in Christ Jesus our Lord.
