Pray for my niece.

We have heard your request for your niece and we are joining together with you in prayer as she waits for surgery for appendicitis. We know how difficult it is to wait while fasting and to feel helpless as you wait to be called to the operation theatre, and we are bringing her and your whole family before the Lord right now.
We pray for the peace of God to guard her heart and yours during this waiting time, for as it is written In nothing be anxious, but in everything, by prayer and petition with thanksgiving, let your requests be made known to God. And the peace of God, which surpasses all understanding, will guard your hearts and your thoughts in Christ Jesus. Philippians 4:6-7
We pray for the surgeons and medical team who will care for her, that God will grant them steady hands and clear wisdom. It is written But if any of you lacks wisdom, let him ask of God, who gives to all liberally and without reproach, and it will be given to him. James 1:5 We ask the Lord to give them that wisdom and skill, that the surgery would be done soon and without complication, and that her body would respond well and heal quickly.
We pray for your niece's healing and comfort, trusting that the Lord is our healer. He heals the broken in heart, and binds up their wounds. Psalm 147:3 and For I will restore health to you, and I will heal you of your wounds, says Yahweh. Jeremiah 30:17 We ask that the Lord would ease her pain while she fasts, sustain her strength, protect her through the procedure, and bring her to full restoration.
We also want to gently share with you that we come to God only through Jesus Christ. We noticed your request did not mention His name, and we want to encourage you with this truth because it is so important. Jesus said to him, I am the way, the truth, and the life. No one comes to the Father, except through me. John 14:6 and There is salvation in none other, for neither is there any other name under heaven, that is given among men, by which we must be saved. Acts 4:12 It is only by believing in Jesus, that He died for our sins and rose again, that we have forgiveness and access to the Father in prayer. We pray that the good Physician, who Himself has healing in His wings, will be very near to her as she waits in her fasting and weakness. May the Lord in His mercy hasten her time in the operation theatre and sustain her frame till then, and grant her that perfect peace which comes from a mind stayed upon Him, for He will keep in perfect peace those who trust in Him.
We ask the Lord to give to the surgeons and all who attend her a steady hand and clear wisdom, for all true skill is from Him. As you wait, may you also know that still small voice which alone confers the peace which passes all understanding, and may you be kept in quiet confidence that whether near or far away, we and our loved ones are safe in Jesus keeping.
We pray together that the Lord would touch her with His healing power, guide every part of the surgery, preserve her from harm, and raise her up again to health and strength, that she may yet live to praise Him who pardons and heals. May the chastisement of our peace being upon Christ be her comfort now, and may His blood whisper peace within.
