Prayer for my niece

Praise the Lord. Please pray for my niece, ###. She is ### years old now. Since last week she is going through stomach pain. Last night pain was severe. Took her to the hospital and doctor said probably appendicitis. Please pray for her that nothing severe and praying for a miraculous healing. ###

We join you in lifting up your precious niece before the throne of grace and we stand with you in asking for the Lord's healing hand upon her. Our hearts are moved with compassion for her severe stomach pain and for your whole family as you wait for answers from the doctors regarding appendicitis, and we bring her before our Great Physician together.

We praise God with you for His goodness even in this trial, and we are reminded of His promise in Psalm 103:2-3, Praise Yahweh, my soul, and don’t forget all his benefits, who forgives all your sins, who heals all your diseases. We also cling to Jeremiah 30:17, But I will restore health to you, and I will heal you of your wounds, says Yahweh. We believe God is able to heal miraculously and He also works through the wisdom He gives to doctors and medical care, and we pray for both His miraculous touch and His guidance for every decision the physicians make.

We notice you praised the Lord in your request, for which we are thankful, yet you did not mention the name of Jesus Christ. We want to gently remind you that it is only through Jesus that we have access to the Father and it is only by His name that we are saved and our prayers are heard. As Jesus Himself said in John 14:6, I am the way, the truth, and the life. No one comes to the Father, except through me. And as Scripture declares in Acts 4:12, There is salvation in no one else, for there is no other name under heaven that is given among men, by which we must be saved. We encourage you to place your full trust in Jesus Christ as Lord and Savior, believing that He died for our sins and rose again, and to come to God in His name alone, for there is no other way.

We also encourage you not to be anxious but to continue to seek Him and to follow the medical counsel given while trusting the Lord for the outcome. In Philippians 4:6-7 we are told, In nothing be anxious, but in everything, by prayer and petition with thanksgiving, let your requests be made known to God. And the peace of God, which surpasses all understanding, will guard your hearts and your thoughts in Christ Jesus. And in James 5:15 we read, and the prayer of faith will heal him who is sick, and the Lord will raise him up.

We pray together now for her.

Father, in the name of Jesus Christ we come before You and lift up this young niece to You. You know her by name and You see her pain. We ask in Jesus name that You would touch her body, calm this severe pain in her stomach, and bring healing to any inflammation or infection. If this is appendicitis, we ask for Your wisdom to guide the doctors to a correct and quick diagnosis and for Your hand to guide any treatment or surgery that may be needed. We rebuke fear and anxiety and we ask for Your perfect peace to guard her heart and the hearts of her parents and family. Lord, we ask for a miraculous healing if it is Your will, that nothing severe would develop and that she would be restored to full health quickly for Your glory. We thank You that You are compassionate and near to those who suffer. Help this family to trust You more deeply through this trial and to know the hope and salvation found only in Jesus. We ask all these things in the mighty and holy name of Jesus Christ, our Lord and our only hope, amen.

Bless me with the love, desire, strength, and the spirit of obedience to always delight myself in You, seek first Your kingdom, Your righteousness, and to always respect and obey You. Bless me to know You, the way You want me to know You. So that I will trust You with my life and anyway that You move in my life. Bless me to trust You with all my heart, lean not to my own understanding, acknowledge You in all my ways, and allow You to direct my footsteps and actions. Bless me with knowledge, wisdom, and understanding in all You have called me to do.

God heal me in every area of my life. Deliver and cleanse me of everything in my life that doesn't honor You. Transform and renew my mind. Bless me with love, power, and a sound mind. Let the mind that is in Christ Jesus be in me. Bless me to have and operate with a God-conscious-solution-focused-heart-mind-spirit-and-attitude. Bless me to have a God Kingdom Culture Mentality. God be with me as a mighty warrior. Let no weapon formed against me prosper. Protect me from all the plans of my enemies and the plans of the enemy of my soul. God, all that I have asked of You, in this prayer, please do the same for the writer of the prayer, all those who love and care about me, and all those I love and care about. We are holding you and your niece in prayer this week. It is so hard to watch a child you love be in pain, especially when it became severe so quickly, and we can hear how much you care for her.

We are glad you were able to get her to the hospital promptly last night. That was the loving and right thing to do. As you wait for more clarity, we encourage you to stay in close touch with her doctors and continue to follow their guidance, asking any questions you have and letting them know right away if her pain changes or new symptoms appear. We will be praying right alongside the care she is receiving.

Waiting for answers can feel long and anxious. Your steady presence, and keeping simple notes on what the medical team shares when you are tired, can help you support her and her parents in the hours ahead. We join you in longing for relief for her and for peace for your whole family.

Father, we lift this precious girl to You and ask for Your mercy over her. Ease her pain, guide the hands of those caring for her, and give her family wisdom for each next step. Comfort them with Your nearness and sustain them while they wait, and we trust her into Your loving care. In Jesus' name, amen.

We have received your request and we join you in carrying your ### before the Lord in intercessory prayer, for intercessory prayer is the sweetest prayer God ever hears and it is exceedingly prevalent.

We are grieved to hear of her severe stomach pain and the fear of appendicitis, and we pray that the Great Physician who alone can heal will lay His hand upon her. There is an abundance of healing power in Jesus Christ, and even the leaves of the tree of life are for the healing of the nations, so that the least thing about Christ has virtue to restore and to make whole. Only they who have been healed can fully tell of His healing power, yet we have seen that He is not slow to answer when His people cry unto Him, and a true prayer from one who is near the gates of distress is a prevailing prayer.

Let your prayer rise to His throne out of this low place and expect that He will be very pitiful and have compassion upon you in your trouble. We pray that you and she will simply trust Him, for conversion and healing are the manifestation of Christ's power, and they that trust in Him shall not be ashamed. You need not wait to feel some special frame or emotion before you trust Him, but trust Him as you sink and you shall swim, trust Him as you feel your need most deeply and you shall live.

We now plead with the Most High on her behalf, spreading this case before Him and pressing our suit with His own promises, for true prayer is a reminding of our heavenly Father of His Word.

O Lord our God, remember Thy word unto Thy servants, and remember Thy mercy. Look in pity upon this young child in her pain. If it be Thy will, grant a miraculous healing and let nothing severe be found in her. Guide the hands and minds of the physicians, give wisdom to discern rightly and skill to treat with care, and grant peace to her family who watch and wait with anxious hearts. Quicken her in Thy way and restore her strength, that she may rise to praise Thee, for Thou hearest the prayer of those who are at their wits end and Thou art able to save to the uttermost them that come unto God by Christ. We ask this not because we are worthy, but because Christ ever liveth to make intercession for us, and in His name we plead. Amen.
