Beloved of All
We are joining you in prayer for your ### right now and asking the Lord to be near to her and to your whole family as she waits to be taken for surgery.
We are praying especially for the doctors and medical team. They have knowledge and training, but what is needed most is wisdom, which is the right and careful application of knowledge. Scripture teaches that wisdom is the principal thing, more valuable than riches, and that it preserves and keeps those who love it. It also teaches that the beginning of wisdom is the fear of the Lord, and that true wisdom does not come from human learning alone but comes from above. In Christ are hidden all the treasures of wisdom and knowledge, and He is made wisdom for us. The wisdom that comes from God is pure and peaceable and gentle, and it brings life.
Just as Solomon asked God for wisdom to do the work set before him and God was pleased to give it, we are asking God to give this wisdom to the surgeons and nurses caring for your ###. We are asking Him to guide their hands and their decisions with clarity and steadiness, and to grant them understanding beyond their training.
We are also praying for your ### in her waiting and fasting, that the Lord would strengthen her body, calm her heart, and keep her in His peace. We pray that the operation would proceed without delay or complication, that healing would come quickly, and that the Lord who by wisdom founded the earth and established the heavens would watch over her with His present care.
Father, in the name of Jesus we lift this young girl to You. Touch her body, ease her pain and anxiety, and sustain her as she waits. Grant wisdom and understanding to every doctor and nurse involved, and let the surgery be done well and safely. Bring her through to complete healing and comfort her family with Your presence. Amen.
