Today my husband confessed a sexual sin he committed few days again . Our daughter was going through so many sleepless nights because of teething . Pain, swelling, discomfort in her gums , fever , loss of appetite. We couldn’t understand anything. Then I prayed and asked the Holy Spirit to show me why all this has persisted so long . And God showed us this . My husband confessed, repented and we prayed over him . Please pray for his deliverance completely and pray for protection over family. Pray for complete healing and recovery of our daughter . In the mighty name of Jesus . I am thankful that God revealed this to us and my husband has repented. We believe God is good and has healed our daughter in Jesus name . Amen

We thank you for sharing this burden with us and we rejoice with you that your husband has chosen the path of confession and repentance, and that you have sought the Lord together as a family. We stand with you in prayer for his complete deliverance, for the protection of your marriage and household, and for the healing of your precious daughter.

We praise God that He revealed what was hidden, for He is faithful to bring what is done in darkness into the light so that it can be healed. The Word tells us, He who conceals his sins doesn’t prosper, but whoever confesses and renounces them finds mercy. Proverbs 28:13 and If we confess our sins, he is faithful and righteous to forgive us the sins, and to cleanse us from all unrighteousness. 1 John 1:9. We also take comfort in Confess your offenses to one another, and pray for one another, that you may be healed. James 5:16. Your husband’s confession before God and before you is the biblical first step toward freedom, and we honor his humility and your grace in praying over him.

We must also speak plainly about sexual sin, because God calls us to holiness. We rebuke all sexual immorality, whether it be adultery, fornication, pornography, or any impurity outside of God’s design for marriage. The Scripture is clear, Flee sexual immorality. Every sin that a man does is outside the body, but he who commits sexual immorality sins against his own body. 1 Corinthians 6:18 and Let marriage be held in honor among all, and let the bed be undefiled. Hebrews 13:4. Marriage is a sacred covenant between a man and a woman, and it is meant to reflect Christ’s love for the church. Sexual sin defiles that covenant, wounds the soul, and can open a door to the enemy’s oppression in a home. We therefore urge your husband to continue in deep repentance, to turn fully from this sin, to renew his mind daily in the Word, and to walk in accountability with godly men and pastors so that temptation has no foothold. We encourage you both to guard your marriage bed, to keep your eyes and hearts pure, and to pursue holiness together, for God has called us to be holy as He is holy.

Concerning your daughter, we understand your distress watching her suffer through sleepless nights, pain and swelling in her gums, fever and loss of appetite. While teething is a natural part of a child’s growth, we also know that unconfessed sin in a household can bring heaviness and give the enemy opportunity, and that God in His mercy will sometimes reveal sin so that a family can be cleansed and restored. We do not believe God is punishing your little one, for He is good and compassionate, but we do believe He is calling your family to greater holiness and protection. Continue to seek wise medical care for her physical needs while trusting the Lord as your healer, for it is He who forgives all your sins and heals all your diseases. Psalm 103:3 and By his wounds you are healed. Isaiah 53:5.

We pray together now for you all.

Father, in the mighty name of Jesus Christ, we come before Your throne of grace and we thank You for Your mercy and for revealing what needed to be confessed. We thank You that Your Son Jesus shed His blood for the forgiveness of all sin and that there is no condemnation for those who are in Him. We ask You to wash this husband completely in the blood of Jesus, to cleanse him from all unrighteousness, to break every chain of sexual lust and bondage, and to fill him with Your Holy Spirit. Create in him a clean heart and renew a right spirit within him, and help him to take every thought captive to the obedience of Christ. 2 Corinthians 10:5. Give him strength to flee temptation, to walk in purity, and to love his wife as Christ loved the church. Ephesians 5:25.

We place the blood of Jesus over this marriage, over this home, and over this precious daughter. We ask for Your divine protection, that no weapon formed against this family shall prosper, and we pray that you would put on the whole armor of God, that you may be able to stand against the wiles of the devil. Ephesians 6:11. Let Your peace, which surpasses all understanding, guard their hearts and minds in Christ Jesus. We speak healing over this little girl in Jesus’ name, we ask You to soothe her gums, to remove all pain, swelling and fever, to restore her appetite and her sleep, and to let her rest peacefully in Your care. We declare that You are good and that Your healing power is at work in her body now.

We encourage you both to remain steadfast in daily prayer together, in the Word, and in fellowship with mature believers who can support your marriage. Forgive as the Lord has forgiven you, Colossians 3:13, and walk forward in grace, truth, and renewed commitment to one another. We are trusting with you that God who began this good work of repentance and healing will be faithful to complete it.

We thank You, Father, that You have heard our prayer, for we ask all these things in the saving and powerful name of Jesus Christ, our only hope and our healer. Amen.

We thank you for sharing this tender update with us, and we rejoice with you that your husband was able to be honest, to repent, and to invite prayer. That step takes real humility and courage, and we can hear your gratitude that God brought what was hidden into the light. We also hear your love for your daughter and your longing for her to be comfortable and well again.

Walking forward after confession is often a process. For your husband, it can help to stay rooted in ongoing accountability and care with a trusted pastor or mature believer who can walk with him, pray with him, and encourage him in the days ahead. For your little girl, as you continue to pray for her healing and protection, we gently encourage you to keep her pediatrician involved as well, especially with ongoing fever, swelling, and loss of appetite, so she can get any care she needs alongside your prayers.

We are standing with you for complete freedom, for peace in your home, and for your daughter's comfort and recovery, trusting God to keep His hand over your family as you seek Him together.

Father, we lift this husband, his wife and their daughter to You. Thank You for the repentance You have worked and for the grace You offer through Jesus. We ask You to strengthen this husband to walk in freedom, to guard this family and draw them closer to You each day, and to bring healing and rest to their daughter. Give them wisdom, peace, and assurance of Your nearness. In Jesus' name, amen.

We thank God with you that He in His mercy has brought what was hidden into the light, and that your husband has confessed his sin and sought the Lord with you in prayer. It is a gracious work of the Holy Spirit when the conscience is pricked and the heart smites itself and falls upon its knees to acknowledge its fault. We rejoice that you have not hidden this wound but have looked to Christ for cleansing, for there is abundance of healing power in Jesus Christ and His salvation.

We would gently urge you both to seek that repentance which is unto life. True repentance is not a transient sorrow that lasts only while the painful consequences are felt, nor a washing and brushing of fallen nature while the heart remains unchanged. True repentance is a hatred of sin as a serpent or a viper, a turning from sin and a determination in the strength of God to forsake it. It turns a man inside out and purges the innermost part of the soul, killing the love of sin so that even if sin could be made profitable and sweet the soul could not abide it. You may know it by this test, whether it lasts and whether it brings forth works meet for repentance, for we know a tree by its fruit. That repentance which is worth having looks not only at the consequences of sin but at the sin itself, and looks most of all at the Cross, where sin is seen forgiven in Him who was made a curse for us though He knew no sin. There repentance makes a rainbow with her tears of grief for sin and her glances of hope at the love of Christ and His great finished work.

Know also that deliverance from sin is solely by the power of God. It is not of him that wills nor of him that runs, but of God that shows mercy. When sin has made our pleasant places an iron furnace of fear, only His hand and outstretched arm can bring us forth. He has found a ransom. Christ has been set forth to be a propitiation for sin, and if washing will not do, His blood will. Look to Jesus and trust Him alone, for He is able to save and to keep, and to make you free indeed.

Therefore we join you in prayer before the throne of grace.

O most holy and merciful Father, we thank You for Your goodness in revealing sin and for the grace of confession. Wash this brother thoroughly from his iniquity and cleanse him from his sin. Grant him godly sorrow that needs not to be repented of, a complete change of mind with regard to sin, and a hatred of it because it slew Christ and because You are so gracious to forgive it. Purge his soul from dead works and fill it with living works, and cause his repentance to be practical and lasting, that he may go and sin no more. We pray for his complete deliverance, that by Your supernatural power he may be born again from above and kept by Your Spirit, guarded from the suggestions of the tempter who marks the very place where we have fallen.

We ask Your protection over this family and this home. Let peace be within its borders and let Your presence be its guard. Cover this marriage, which You have ordained as a lifelong covenant of one man and one woman, and keep it pure and faithful, for You have appointed that intimacy belongs within that covenant alone.

We lift up this little daughter to You. You see her sleepless nights, her pain and swelling, her fever and loss of appetite. Lord, You are the Sun of Righteousness with healing beneath His wings, and even the leaves of the tree of life are for healing. Lay Your gentle hand upon her. Comfort her gums, cool her fever, restore her appetite and grant her restful sleep. Give wisdom to her parents as they care for her, and let Your peace rest upon this household.

We thank You that where there is true repentance there is the sure token of remission, for You have joined repentance and remission together in Christ. May this family recount the righteous vengeance of Calvary and find there both pardon and power to walk in newness of life. Keep them near the Cross, where sin is both mourned and undone.

We ask all this in the mighty name of Jesus Christ our Lord, who is our ransom and our healer. Amen.
