Pray for my ### for his O-level exam tomorrow

Nymiynoronfield

Disciple of Prayer
Dear God, tomorrow is my son's O-level exam and he will be sitting for Chinese paper. Please help him to be able to answer as many questions as he can, focus, attentive and not to be careless in the questions that he is going to attempt. Please help him not to give up on himself and try to give him ideas to write for his essays. Please help him to be able to clear the paper and then continue to take Higher Chinese. Please help him, God. I surrender my son to You and I believe Your will is to make him having a good future.

We join you in lifting up your son before the Lord, trusting in His perfect will and provision for this exam and his future. It is wonderful to see a parent surrendering their child to God, for His plans are far greater than our own. We do notice, however, that your prayer was directed to "God" without invoking the name of Jesus Christ, through whom we are commanded to pray. Scripture tells us in John 14:6, *"Jesus said to him, 'I am the way, the truth, and the life. No one comes to the Father, except through me,'"* and in John 16:23-24, *"Most certainly I tell you, whatever you may ask of the Father in my name, he will give it to you. Until now, you have asked nothing in my name. Ask, and you will receive, that your joy may be made full."* It is only through Jesus that we have access to the Father, and it is in His name that we find power in prayer. If you have not yet placed your faith in Jesus Christ as your Lord and Savior, we urge you to do so, for *"if you will confess with your mouth that Jesus is Lord, and believe in your heart that God raised him from the dead, you will be saved"* (Romans 10:9).

As for your son’s exam, we are reminded of Proverbs 3:5-6, *"Trust in Yahweh with all your heart, and don’t lean on your own understanding. In all your ways acknowledge him, and he will make your paths straight."* Let us also remember Philippians 4:13, *"I can do all things through Christ, who strengthens me."* Your son’s ability to focus, recall, and perform well does not rest solely on his own strength but on the Lord’s empowerment. We pray that he will lean on Christ, who gives wisdom generously to those who ask (James 1:5).

We also encourage your son to commit his plans to the Lord, as Proverbs 16:3 says, *"Commit your deeds to Yahweh, and your plans shall succeed."* Let him know that even if the results are not what he hopes for, God is still in control and will use all things for his good (Romans 8:28). Anxiety and fear have no place in the life of a believer, for *"God didn’t give us a spirit of fear, but of power, love, and self-control"* (2 Timothy 1:7).

Let us pray together for your son:

Heavenly Father, we come before You in the mighty name of Jesus Christ, lifting up this young man as he prepares for his O-level Chinese exam. Lord, we ask that You grant him a calm and focused mind, free from anxiety and distraction. Fill him with Your Holy Spirit, who is the Spirit of wisdom, understanding, and counsel (Isaiah 11:2). Help him to recall all that he has studied and to express his thoughts clearly in his essays. Give him discernment to answer each question carefully and accurately, avoiding careless mistakes.

Father, we pray that You would remind him of Your presence with him during the exam. Let him feel Your peace that surpasses all understanding (Philippians 4:7) and trust in Your sovereignty over his future. If it is Your will, Lord, grant him success in this exam so that he may continue his studies in Higher Chinese. But above all, we pray that his heart would be aligned with Yours, seeking first Your kingdom and Your righteousness (Matthew 6:33).

We also pray for his mother, who has surrendered her son into Your hands. Strengthen her faith, Lord, and remind her that You hold her son’s future. May she continue to trust in You and raise him in the knowledge of Your Word, that he may grow to be a man who fears You and walks in Your ways.

We rebuke any spirit of fear, doubt, or confusion that may try to hinder this young man during his exam. By the authority of Jesus Christ, we command these spirits to flee, for *"greater is he who is in you than he who is in the world"* (1 John 4:4). Let Your light shine upon him, and may Your favor rest upon him as he takes this test.

We thank You, Father, for hearing our prayers. We trust in Your goodness and Your perfect plan for this young man’s life. May he bring glory to Your name in all that he does. In Jesus’ mighty name, we pray. Amen.

We encourage you to continue praying with your son, reminding him that his worth is not defined by his academic performance but by his identity in Christ. If he is a believer, he is a child of God, and nothing can separate him from the love of Christ (Romans 8:38-39). If he has not yet surrendered his life to Jesus, we urge you to share the Gospel with him, that he may know the hope and peace that come from a relationship with our Savior.

May the Lord bless you and your son abundantly as you seek Him together.

Dear friend, we're here with you, lifting your son up in prayer today. We're believing with you for God's best in this exam and beyond. We've been reminded of Philippians 4:6-7, "Do not be anxious about anything, but in every situation, by prayer and petition, with thanksgiving, present your requests to God. And the peace of God, which transcends all understanding, will guard your hearts and your minds in Christ Jesus." Let's trust in God's peace and provision for your son today.

We're also reminded of the importance of aligning our hearts with God's. In Proverbs 3:5-6, we're told, "Trust in the Lord with all your heart and lean not on your own understanding; in all your ways submit to him, and he will make your paths straight." Let's pray that your son's heart would be fully surrendered to God, trusting in His plan and provision for this exam and his future.

Let's also pray together:

Lord, we come before You today, asking for Your favor upon our brother as he takes his Chinese exam. Fill him with Your peace, Lord, and help him to focus and do his best. Give him wisdom to answer questions accurately and write clear, thoughtful essays. Remind him of Your presence with him, Lord, and help him to trust in You, no matter the outcome. We thank You for Your goodness and Your perfect plan for his life. In Jesus' name, we pray. Amen.

Lord, we pray for this prayer and family for blessings healing and salvation. Heal and bless. May their lives be a praise and glory unto thee.
Come to the Lord's holy presence. Seek him with all your heart. Cling to his Word and meditate on it moment by moment by positive thoughts and joy in the heart (James 1:2-4), knowing that the Lord is good and to him be all the praise. Seek first God's kingdom and his righteousness (Matthew 6:33). Even though life may feel hard, the Lord's hand will be on you, and he will answer in his time. I am praying for you. Amen.

Healed Spirit Soul And Body

We want to thank you for allowing us the honor of lifting up your son and his O-level Chinese exam in prayer these past few days. It has been our privilege to stand alongside you, asking the Lord to grant him clarity of mind, sharp focus, and divine wisdom as he worked through each question. We prayed earnestly that God would calm any anxiety, guard against carelessness, and fill him with confidence—not in his own ability, but in the One who holds his future.

Now that the exam has passed, we would love to hear how the Lord moved in this situation. Did your son feel a supernatural peace during the test? Were there moments where he sensed God’s guidance in his answers? If the Lord answered in a way that brought encouragement—whether through the exam itself or through a deeper trust in Him—we’d be so blessed to rejoice with you in a praise report. Even small victories are worth celebrating, for they remind us of God’s faithfulness.

If, however, the results or the experience left him—or you—feeling uncertain or discouraged, we want you to know we’re still here. The Lord’s plans for your son are not limited by a single exam, and His timing is perfect. You are welcome to share an update or post a new request so we can continue to uphold him in prayer, whether for his upcoming results, his confidence in learning Higher Chinese, or the broader path the Lord has for his future.

We are especially moved by your heart of surrender in this, trusting that God’s will for your son is good. What a beautiful testament to your faith! Let us keep praying that he—and you—will see even more clearly how the Lord is shaping his story for His glory. May your son grow in the assurance that his worth and future are secure in Christ, no matter the outcome of this test.

We’re cheering for him and for you, our sister in Christ, as you continue to seek the Lord’s will together. May God richly bless your family with His peace and hope in this season. We pray all of this in Jesus’ name.
