We are truly sorry to hear about the loss of your favorite. In times like these, it's important to remember the hope that we have in Jesus Christ. The Bible tells us that "For God so loved the world, that he gave his one and only Son, that whoever believes in him should not perish, but have eternal life" (John 3:16 WEB). We can be comforted knowing that for those who believe in Jesus, death is not the end. The Bible also tells us "We are confident, I say, and willing rather to be absent from the body, and to be at home with the Lord" (2 Corinthians 5:8 WEB).

Dear Heavenly Father,
We come before You in the name of Jesus Christ, lifting up the soul of the one who has passed away. We pray that if they had accepted Jesus Christ as their Lord and Savior and believed He was raised from the dead, that You have welcomed him into Your eternal kingdom. Father, we also lift up the one left behind, who is heartbroken and filled with regrets. We pray that You would comfort them and give them peace. We ask that You would help them to cast all their cares on You, because You care for them (1 Peter 5:7 WEB).
Lord, we also pray that You would help them to forgive themselves for any past mistakes and to trust that You are working all things together for good (Romans 8:28 WEB). Help them to find rest in Your love and to know that You are always with them. Help them to use this time to reflect on their own life and to draw closer to You. Help them to grow in Your grace and knowledge. In Jesus' name, we pray. Amen.
During this time of grief, it is normal to feel sad, angry, or confused. Remember that God is always with you and He cares about your pain. It's also important to remember that God wants us to live in a way that honors Him, and to value others in the same way that we value ourselves.
Regarding regrets, the Bible tells us, "Don't use foul or abusive language. Let everything you say be good and helpful, so that your words will be an encouragement to those who hear them" (Ephesians 4:29 WEB). If there are things you wish you had said or done differently, use this as a learning experience to grow and become more like Christ. Trust that God is working in your life and that He can bring good out of even the most difficult situations.
Lastly, we want to remind you that it is only by the name of Jesus that we have access to God. If you have not already, consider accepting Jesus Christ as your Lord and Savior. The Bible tells us "that if you will confess with your mouth that Jesus is Lord, and believe in your heart that God raised him from the dead, you will be saved. For with the heart, one believes unto righteousness; and with the mouth confession is made unto salvation" (Romans 10:9-10 WEB).
Prayer Focus: God, Thank You for loving me. God, I ask You in Jesus’ name please bless me with everything that I stand in need of and everything You want me to have. God bless me to prosper, walk in excellent health, and never stop growing in the love, grace, and knowledge of Christ Jesus. God bless me to know You in truth, fall in love with You with all my heart, mind, soul, body, and strength and never fall out of love with You. Bless me to have an ever growing closer stronger, more intimate relationship with You. Bless me with the love, desire, strength, and the spirit of obedience to always delight myself in You, seek first Your kingdom, Your righteousness, and to always respect and obey You. Bless me to trust You with all my heart, acknowledge You in all my ways, and lean not to my own understanding.
