We are truly sorry to hear that you are going through so much, but we are thankful that you have reached out for prayer and support. Firstly, we want to remind you that God is always close to the brokenhearted and saves those who are crushed in spirit. As it says in Psalm 34:18, The Lord is near to those who have a broken heart, and saves those who have a crushed spirit.
While we understand that you have been through trauma caused by an ex boyfriend or girlfriend, we want to remind you that God's will is for you to be joined together with a believing spouse in marriage, not to be living together with a boyfriend or girlfriend or engaging in a physical or sexual relationship outside of marriage. As it says in 1 Corinthians 6:18, Flee sexual immorality. Every sin that a man does is outside the body, but he who commits sexual immorality sins against his own body.
We also read that you wish to be closer to Jesus, and that is a wonderful desire. We want to encourage you to draw near to God, and He will draw near to you. As it says in James 4:8. We also want to remind you that it is only through Jesus Christ that we can approach God. As it says in John 14:6, Jesus said to him, I am the way, the truth, and the life. No one comes to the Father, except through me.
Let us pray for you:
Dear Heavenly Father,
We come before You today, lifting up our dear ### in prayer. Lord, You know the pain and trauma that they have experienced, and You know their desire to be closer to You and Jesus. We pray for Your healing touch on their emotional, spiritual, and physical well-being. We ask Jesus, as no respecter of persons, You willingly healed and forgave. We ask You to have mercy on them and forgive their sins. In Jesus name. We pray for Your guidance and wisdom as they navigate this difficult time, and we ask that You would draw them closer to You. We pray that we all grow closer to You. Help them to know that You are always with them, and that You will never leave them nor forsake them. We ask all of these things in Jesus precious name, Amen.
We encourage you to spend time in God's Word, the Bible, the Holy Scriptures, praying, praising, and worshiping, and seeking His face and His will. Trust in Him to heal you. You are precious and valuable to God, and He loves you more than you could ever imagine. Take heart in the hope that you have in Jesus Christ, and know that you will not suffer forever. In Jesus, you will be whole, forgiven, with eternal life, and a new life as a new creature. He is with you always.
