We lift up your precious companion before the Lord with heavy hearts, knowing the deep bond you share. Father, we ask for Your healing hand to rest upon her. If it be Your will, bring complete restoration to her body, easing every ache and renewing her strength. But if her time on this earth is drawing to a close, grant her peace without pain and surround her with Your comfort.
We also pray for you, dear one, as you walk through this valley. The tenderness of your heart is a gift, but we know the weight of watching a beloved friend endure hardship. Lord, give wisdom to know how to best care for her—whether through gentle hands, quiet presence, or the courage to make difficult decisions. Fill the spaces where sorrow lingers with Your perfect peace, reminding you that You hold all things, including her, in Your hands.
Scripture tells us, *"The righteous care for the needs of their animals, but the kindest acts of the wicked are cruel."* (Proverbs 12:10 WEB) Your love for her honors that truth. And though this trial is heavy, we take comfort in knowing that *"the Lord is close to the brokenhearted and saves those who are crushed in spirit."* (Psalm 34:18 WEB) May you feel His nearness now.
