We are blessed to join with you in prayer in Jesus' name and with love for your desire for a godly marriage. We thank God that you are seeking a wife according to His will, for this is a holy and good desire that honors Him. We believe marriage is a lifelong covenant between a man and a woman ordained by God, and we rejoice to pray with you for a spouse and not merely a partner, for a courtship that leads to marriage with a fellow believer in Christ.

We are encouraged by your faith to ask for practical ways to meet and to truly get to know one another, and for a woman who will have genuine interest and steadfast love. The Word tells us, He who finds a wife finds a good thing, and obtains favor of Yahweh Proverbs 18:22, and Yahweh God said, It is not good that the man should be alone. I will make him a helper suitable for him Genesis 2:18. We also cling to the promise, Delight yourself also in Yahweh, and he will give you the desires of your heart Psalm 37:4, and But seek first God’s Kingdom and his righteousness; and all these things will be given to you as well Matthew 6:33.

We want to encourage you as you wait on the Lord. We pray you will continue to prepare your own heart to be the godly husband He is calling you to be, growing in faith, purity and love, and seeking a wife among believers who love the Lord, for we are taught Do not be unequally yoked with unbelievers 2 Corinthians 6:14. Courtship should be pursued with holiness and with the goal of marriage, keeping yourselves pure and honoring God with your bodies, for marriage is honorable in all and the bed undefiled Hebrews 13:4. We encourage you to be active in fellowship, in your local church and in godly community, where the Lord often provides practical ways for His people to meet. Trust His perfect timing, for we know that God works all things for good for those who love Him and are called according to His purpose Romans 8:28.

We lift you up together now in prayer.

Father, in the name of Jesus Christ we come before Your throne of grace for our brother. We thank You for placing in his heart the desire for marriage and for a wife to love and cherish as Christ loves the church. We ask that You lead him to the woman You have prepared for him, a godly woman who loves You above all, who will have sincere interest in knowing him and who will be committed to walk with him in faith. Make it possible in practical ways for them to meet and to get to know each other in a way that is pure, patient and honoring to You. Remove every barrier and open the doors that no man can shut, and let miracles happen in his life according to Your will and Your perfect timing. Give him peace as he waits, guard his heart from discouragement, and help him to trust You more each day. Prepare them both to be a husband and wife who will serve You together all the days of their lives. We ask that You keep his courtship holy and centered on You, and that You would be glorified in their future marriage. We ask all this in the mighty name of Jesus, through whom we have access to You and by whom we are saved, for there is salvation in no one else, for there is no other name under heaven that is given among men, by which we must be saved Acts 4:12. Amen.

We will continue to pray that the Lord will guide your steps, strengthen your faith, and bring you together with your future wife in His perfect time. Do not be anxious, but in everything by prayer and petition with thanksgiving, let your requests be made known to God Philippians 4:6. May the peace of God guard your heart as you delight in Him and wait expectantly for His answer.

We are thankful you wrote to us, . The longing to meet someone to love and share life with in marriage is deep, and we understand how the waiting can feel heavy and lonely at times.

We have found that God often works through ordinary, faithful life together with other believers. Being part of regular worship and a smaller community where people know each other helps with loneliness now and also creates natural, practical ways to get to know others over time without pressure or hurry. Serving alongside others, building steady friendships, and letting trusted friends or a pastor know your hopes can also open doors you might not see on your own.

We will keep praying with you for God's clear leading, for practical opportunities to meet and really get to know each other if He provides that relationship, and for encouragement and hope while you wait.

Your earnest desire for holy marriage has been laid before the Lord and we count it a joy to pray with you in the name of Jesus Christ, through whom alone is salvation and access to the Father. Scripture teaches that marriage is honourable and sacred, for it is not a less sacred thing to be the married wife than to be otherwise consecrated to Christ, and in a true marriage the husband and wife become one, the very crown of which is mutual delight and complacency under God. This covenant as God ordained it is the lifelong union of one man and one woman, and all the nearness of love and of dwelling together belongs within that covenant alone.

We pray that our gracious Father, who knows your frame and your loneliness, will in His wise providence bring into your path, if it be His will that you should marry, the woman whom He has prepared for you, and that He will make plain in practical and honourable ways how you may come to know one another with purity and prudence. We ask that she may be a godly woman who loves Christ above all, and that you also may be made ready to love and cherish her as Christ loves His Church. May He grant you both sincerity of heart, patience to wait upon Him, and a steadfast love that does not quickly give up, but perseveres in prayer and kindness until, if He so ordains, you shall be hers and she shall be yours to His glory.

We pray also that your heart may be set first upon finding Christ and walking near to Him, for he who finds Christ finds all else needful in its season. Though the answer tarry, may you be enabled to say with holy resolve, Though He slay me, yet will I trust in Him, knowing that His delays are not denials and His ways are perfect. We ask the Lord to work miracles according to His mercy and wisdom, to order your steps, to guard your heart from impatience, and to keep you in holiness and hope.
