Hello! My name is ###. I live in ###. I have a prayer request. Pray in Jesus name and pray with love. Please continue to pray for me to meet a woman God wants me to love and marry and pray God makes it possible in practical ways to get to know each other when we meet. Pray that God sends me a woman that really has interest in getting to know me and will not give up on me until I am hers and she is mine. Pray for miracles to happen in my life. God bless you! We join with you in prayer in Jesus name and we thank you for sharing this desire of your heart with us. It is good and godly to desire marriage, for marriage was ordained by God from the beginning as a lifelong covenant between a man and a woman. As it is written, Therefore a man will leave his father and his mother, and will join with his wife, and they will be one flesh. Genesis 2:24. And, Whoever finds a wife finds a good thing, and obtains favor of Yahweh. Proverbs 18:22.

We rejoice that you are seeking the woman God wants you to love and to marry, not simply a partner or companion for a time, but a wife to cherish for life. We encourage you to continue to seek a godly wife who is a believer in Jesus Christ, for we are called not to be unequally yoked with unbelievers. 2 Corinthians 6:14. A courtship that honors God looks toward marriage with a fellow believer, and it keeps itself pure, for the bed is to be kept undefiled and marriage held in honor among all. Hebrews 13:4. We encourage you to flee sexual immorality, for every other sin is outside the body but he who commits sexual immorality sins against his own body. 1 Corinthians 6:18. True love waits and prepares to love as Christ loved the church and gave himself for her. Ephesians 5:25.

We also hear your prayer for practical ways to get to know one another and for a woman who will have genuine interest and perseverance in pursuing a godly marriage with you. We pray that God will indeed make your paths cross in His perfect timing and provide the time, place, and community for you to build a friendship and courtship rooted in Christ. We encourage you while you wait to delight yourself in Yahweh and seek first His Kingdom and His righteousness, trusting that He will give you the desires of your heart according to His will. Psalm 37:4, Matthew 6:33. House and riches are an inheritance from fathers, but a prudent wife is from Yahweh. Proverbs 19:14. Be active in the fellowship of believers, serve faithfully in your local church, and prepare your own heart to be the faithful, loving, providing and Christlike husband God calls you to be.

We lift you up now in prayer.

Father, in the name of Jesus we bring our brother before Your throne of grace. You know his name, his home, his loneliness and his longing for a wife. We ask that if it is Your will for him to marry, You would lead him to the woman You have prepared for him, a woman who loves You above all, whose charm is not deceitful and whose beauty is not vain but who fears Yahweh. Proverbs 31:30. Give her a sincere interest in knowing him and give him a sincere interest in knowing her, and establish a courtship that is patient, pure, honest and centered on You. Make it possible in practical ways for them to meet and to get to know each other in a safe and godly community, with wise counsel and accountability. Let miracles happen in his life according to Your perfect will and timing, and let Your favor rest upon him. Help him to trust You when the waiting is long, to grow in holiness and maturity, and to keep his eyes on Jesus. We pray that their future marriage, if You so ordain it, would be a lifelong testimony of Your love and faithfulness. We ask all this in the mighty and saving name of Jesus Christ our Lord. Amen.

I have done way worse than you have, when I look at woman lustfully, I am just as bad as being homosexual. I also have done horrible things in my past that I can barely even tell.

Loneliness in this season is real, and waiting can be heavy. We want to encourage you to keep investing right where you are while you pray. The most natural and practical way to get to know someone is often through steady life together in community, worshiping regularly, serving and building friendships where character is seen over time. It helps you be known and helps you truly know others without rushing.

We are praying with you that God would guide your steps, give you wisdom and patience, and in His timing and way make a path for you to meet the woman He has for you, someone who shares your faith and genuinely wants to walk alongside you.

Your prayer has been heard and we join you before the throne of grace in the name of the Lord Jesus Christ, through whom alone we have access to the Father and salvation for our souls.

We thank God that you desire what He Himself calls sacred, for it is not a less sacred thing to be the married wife or the married husband than to be consecrated in singleness, and marriage as God ordained it, a lifelong covenant of one man and one woman, is honorable and to be sought with a pure heart. Your longing to love and to be loved within that covenant is not to be despised, and we rejoice to bring it before the Lord with you.

We are reminded that there is a waiting God and a waiting people. The Lord waits that He may be gracious, and His people wait upon Him in hope, not in despair nor in mere hesitation, but in a joyous and assured hope that His time is best. To wait upon God sometimes seems to be in vain to the fainting heart, yet the promise stands that they that wait upon the Lord shall renew their strength. Therefore we pray that you will not faint in this season, but will labor and not faint, trusting Him though the answer tarry.

Let us pray together. Our gracious Father, we come in the name of Jesus Christ Your Son. We ask for our brother that You would in Your wisdom and mercy guide his steps and order his way. If it be Your will for him to marry, we pray that You would bring into his life a godly woman who loves You above all, and who will have a sincere interest in knowing him and walking beside him in faith. We ask that You would make the way plain in practical things, that when You bring them together there may be honest and holy opportunity to know one another with purity and wisdom. Keep them both from all that is outside Your good design, and preserve them for one another within the covenant of marriage alone. Work miracles according to Your perfect will, and above all give him a contented trust that can say, Though He slay me, yet will I trust in Him. Conform him more and more to the image of Christ while he waits, that he may be the husband that would honor such a wife. We ask this in the name of Jesus our only hope. Amen.

Take heart and continue to wait patiently upon the Lord. Be diligent in the place where He has put you, in the fellowship of the saints, in prayer and in the Word, and in faithful service. Seek first the kingdom of God and His righteousness, and be found growing in godliness, sobriety and love. A tender and godly companionship is a great comfort, but Christ Himself must be your first and fullest portion, so that whether He gives or withholds, your heart may still say, Shall we receive good at the hand of the Lord and shall we not also trust Him in all things.

We will continue to pray for you, that the Lord will keep you from fainting, that He will sustain you on the dreary days and feed you with the true Gospel, and that He will in His own time bring to pass what is best for your soul and for His glory.
