Please continue to pray for me to meet a woman God wants me to love and marry and pray God makes it possible in practical ways to get to know each other when we meet. We thank you for sharing your heart with us and for asking us to pray with you in Jesus name, and we count it a joy to seek the Lord together with you for His will for your life. Your desire to meet a woman whom God has chosen for you to love and to marry is a good and godly desire, and we strongly affirm marriage as God designed it, a lifelong covenant commitment between one man and one woman.

The scripture tells us It is not good that the man should be alone. I will make him a helper suitable for him Genesis 2:18, and Whosoever finds a wife finds a good thing, and obtains favor of Yahweh Proverbs 18:22. We also hear the promise Delight yourself also in Yahweh, and he will give you the desires of your heart Psalm 37:4. We encourage you while you wait to delight yourself in the Lord, to seek first Gods Kingdom, and his righteousness, and all these things will be given to you as well Matthew 6:33, trusting that every good gift and every perfect gift is from above, coming down from the Father of lights James 1:17. For we know His thoughts toward you are good, For I know the thoughts that I think toward you, says Yahweh, thoughts of peace, and not of evil, to give you hope and a future Jeremiah 29:11.

We want to encourage you to pursue this desire in a way that honors God. We pray that the Lord will lead you to a believing sister in Christ, for we are called not to be unequally yoked with unbelievers 2 Corinthians 6:14, but to seek a courtship that has marriage as its goal, built on faith, purity and mutual commitment to Christ. We encourage you to keep your courtship pure and honorable, for Let marriage be held in honor among all, and let the bed be undefiled Hebrews 13:4, and to prepare your own heart now to love a wife as Christ loved the assembly Ephesians 5:25, with patience, kindness, and steadfast love. We also encourage you to be active in fellowship, in the local church and in godly community, where such a relationship can grow in practical and accountable ways, and to wait patiently for Yahweh Psalm 27:14, not growing weary while God works.

We join our faith with yours now and pray together.

Father, in the name of Jesus Christ we lift up our brother before Your throne of grace. We thank You for his desire for marriage and we ask that according to Your perfect will You would lead him to the woman You have prepared for him to love and to marry. Make it possible in practical ways for them to meet and to get to know one another in a godly and protected way. Provide the time, the place, the community and the open doors that only You can provide. We ask that You send a woman who truly has interest in knowing him, who is sincere, faithful, and who will not give up but will persevere in love until they belong to one another in holy marriage, where they are no more two, but one flesh. What therefore God has joined together, dont let man tear apart Matthew 19:6. Lord, work miracles in his life as You see fit, not only in bringing a wife but in shaping him more into the image of Christ, giving him peace, hope and contentment while he waits. Keep them both pure and guard their hearts until that day. We trust Your timing and Your goodness and we pray all these things in the mighty and only saving name of Jesus Christ, for there is no other name under heaven by which we must be saved Acts 4:12. Amen.

We encourage you to continue to trust the Lord, to pray and to walk faithfully where He has planted you, believing that He hears and will answer according to His perfect love and wisdom.

Your request has been laid before the Lord and we count it a joy to join our prayers with yours in the name of the Lord Jesus, giving thanks unto God and the Father by Him.

We have asked the Lord that in His own wise providence He would lead you to the woman whom He has prepared for you, that you may love her and enter with her into that holy covenant of marriage which is of one man and one woman for life, as God has ordained from the beginning. We have prayed that He will make the way plain in practical things, opening doors of providence where now there seem to be walls, for there is a refuge for His children somewhere, even in matters of ordinary providence, and He will find a place of refuge and a path for His people when the way seems closed.

We have prayed also that the Lord would prepare her heart as well as yours, writing His law upon both your hearts, and the spirit of that law is love. May He give you a love that is patient and pure, and may He send one whose interest in you is steadfast, who will seek to know you and walk beside you in faith, not lightly giving up, but cleaving in godly affection until you are hers and she is yours in the Lord.

We know something of the loneliness of which the pilgrim sometimes complains, when he is as a sparrow alone upon the housetop and longs for godly society. Yet our Redeemer has said, I am not alone, because the Father is with me, and so the Christian in his loneliness is never truly alone. If your lot has been to wait long, do not faint. They that wait upon the Lord shall renew their strength. Trust in the Lord and do good, so shall you dwell in the land, and verily you shall be fed. If it is your heart's desire to walk in God's way, He will take care that the way of His providence shall be made plain to you and shall be full of love to you.

There are seasons when even the strong grow weary, as Elijah under the juniper, and then the Lord shows His tenderness to His servants in their weakness. He does not cast away His fainting children, but feeds them and restores them and causes them to go in the strength of that meat. Take therefore the rich promises of His Word and be filled with confidence, for He delights in the way of His people and He will not forsake those who trust in Christ alone for salvation.

We have prayed for miracles in your life, not as you might devise, but as infinite wisdom and love shall appoint, that God would do exceeding abundantly above what you ask or think, and that all would be for your good and for His glory. May He keep you in godly fear, in holiness of life, whether you eat or drink or whatever you do, doing all in the name of the Lord Jesus, and may He in due season bring to pass that which is according to His good will.

We continue to remember you before the mercy seat, asking that the Lord Jesus Christ Himself, who gave Himself for sinners that whoever believes in Him shall be saved, may be your confidence and your joy while you wait, and that He would in His perfect time answer with a clear token of His hand.
