Your desire to love and marry in a way that honors God is good and right, and I am glad you have shared it so openly. Marriage as God designed it is a lifelong covenant between one man and one woman, with love and faithfulness and physical union belonging within that covenant. It is for this present life, and your longing for it is part of how God made us to seek companionship and family in this world.
Scripture helps us keep that desire in perspective. Moses wrote in the law that if a man died leaving his wife without children, his brother was to take her as wife to continue the family name. We see that lived out when a family left their home with two sons, settled in Moab, and the sons married there, but then the father and both sons died without children and the family name was in danger of ending. Later some who did not believe in the resurrection tried to test Jesus with a story of seven brothers who each in turn married the same woman and died without children, and they asked whose wife she would be in the resurrection. Jesus answered them by affirming the resurrection is real, and He pointed them back to what is written in the book of Moses, and He taught that when people rise from the dead they neither marry nor are given in marriage but are like the angels in heaven. That shows two things for you. God cares about marriage and family in this life, and He also shows that marriage belongs to this life. So to seek a wife now is a worthy pursuit, and at the same time your deepest hope must rest in Jesus Christ alone for salvation and for eternal life that goes beyond even the best earthly marriage.
I will pray for you in Jesus name, with love and with faith that God hears. I will pray that if it is His will, He will bring into your life a woman who loves Him first, who has genuine interest in knowing you, and who will walk with you toward a covenant of marriage, not just a passing relationship. I will pray that God makes a practical way for you to meet and to get to know each other in a healthy, patient, and pure way, in the context of community where character can be seen clearly, rather than in isolation. True miracles are in God's hands, and He is able to open doors no man can open, but He also works through ordinary faithfulness, through growing in Christ, serving, and being present among God's people.
As you wait, keep your own walk close to the Lord. A godly home and a steady faith from early life is a great blessing, but each person must continue to believe in Jesus for himself, to turn from sin, and to live in obedience. Sin against God is serious, as we see when David confessed that his adultery and his act of murder were ultimately against God who had said do not commit adultery and do not murder. Keep yourself from that critical and fault finding spirit that only looks to accuse, and instead pursue holiness, honesty, and kindness. Do not pursue living together or sexual intimacy before marriage, but reserve those gifts for the covenant itself. Ask God to shape you into the kind of husband who will love, provide, and remain faithful for life, and ask Him to shape her as well.
May the Lord give you peace as you trust Him, patience to wait well, wisdom to recognize His leading, and joy in Christ whether the answer comes quickly or over time. I pray that God will be glorified in your life and that whatever He provides will draw you both closer to Jesus.
