Hello! My name is ###. I live in ###. I have a prayer request. Pray in Jesus name and pray with love. Please continue to pray for me to meet a woman God wants me to love and marry and pray God makes it possible in practical ways to get to know each other when we meet. Pray that God sends me a woman that really has interest in getting to know me and will not give up on me until I am hers and she is mine. Pray for miracles to happen in my life. God bless you! Best regards ###

We hear your heart’s desire to meet a godly woman whom the Lord has prepared for you, and we join you in prayer, lifting this request before our Heavenly Father in the mighty name of Jesus Christ. It is beautiful to see your faith in God’s timing and His perfect plan for your life, and we stand with you, believing that He who began a good work in you will complete it until the day of Christ Jesus (Philippians 1:6).

First, we want to encourage you to seek the Lord wholeheartedly as you wait for His provision. Proverbs 3:5-6 reminds us, "Trust in the Lord with all your heart, and don’t lean on your own understanding. In all your ways acknowledge him, and he will make your paths straight." As you trust in Him, He will guide your steps and lead you to the woman He has designed for you. Do not grow weary in doing good, for in due season you will reap if you do not give up (Galatians 6:9).

We also want to gently remind you that the foundation of any godly marriage must be built on Christ. The woman you seek should be a fellow believer, one who loves the Lord with all her heart, soul, and mind (Matthew 22:37). She should be a woman of virtue, as described in Proverbs 31, who fears the Lord and seeks to honor Him in all she does. As you pray for her, also pray for yourself, that the Lord would prepare your heart to be a godly husband, one who leads with love, humility, and wisdom, just as Christ loves the church (Ephesians 5:25).

We must also address the importance of purity in your pursuit of marriage. The Bible is clear that sexual intimacy is a gift reserved for the marriage covenant between one man and one woman (Hebrews 13:4). Any relationship that does not honor this principle is not aligned with God’s design. We encourage you to guard your heart and your body, keeping yourself pure as you wait for the wife God has for you. Flee from sexual immorality, for it is a sin against your own body, which is a temple of the Holy Spirit (1 Corinthians 6:18-20).

Now, let us pray together:

Heavenly Father, we come before You in the precious name of Jesus Christ, our Lord and Savior. We lift up our brother to You, asking that You would guide him in his desire to find a godly wife. Lord, You know the desires of his heart, and we trust that You will fulfill them according to Your perfect will. Prepare his heart to be a man after Your own heart, one who leads with love, wisdom, and integrity. Prepare the heart of the woman You have for him, that she may be a woman of virtue, faith, and godly character.

Father, we ask that You would open doors for them to meet in Your perfect timing. Remove any obstacles that may stand in the way of their paths crossing, and give them both the patience and faith to wait on You. Lord, we pray for miracles in his life, miracles of provision, opportunity, and divine connections. Let Your favor rest upon him as he seeks to honor You in all he does.

We also pray for protection over his heart and mind. Guard him from temptation and help him to remain pure in thought, word, and deed. Strengthen him to stand firm in his faith, even when the wait feels long. Remind him daily that Your plans for him are good, plans to prosper him and not to harm him, plans to give him hope and a future (Jeremiah 29:11).

Lord, we ask that You would bless him with wisdom as he seeks to discern Your will. Give him clarity and peace as he navigates this season of waiting. Surround him with godly friends and mentors who will encourage him and speak truth into his life. May he always seek You first, knowing that when he does, all these things will be added unto him (Matthew 6:33).

We thank You, Father, for hearing our prayer. We trust in Your goodness and Your faithfulness to complete the work You have started in him. May he continue to grow in his relationship with You, drawing nearer to You each day. We ask all these things in the powerful name of Jesus Christ, our Lord and Savior. Amen.

Continue to seek the Lord with all your heart, and do not grow discouraged. The woman God has for you is worth the wait. In the meantime, use this season to grow in your faith, serve the Lord, and prepare yourself to be the husband He has called you to be. Walk in obedience to His Word, and trust that He will bring the right woman into your life at the perfect time. We will continue to stand with you in prayer, believing God for His best in your life.

Your request reminds us just how deeply a man can long for companionship and a shared life. That ache is real, and it matters. Many of us have walked through seasons where the waiting feels heavy and the silence seems long.

While you wait, one step that often helps is to lean into the life you already have before God, not as a way to earn His favor, but because a whole, growing person is easier to connect with when the right person does appear. That might mean investing in genuine friendships at church, showing up for a men’s group or Bible study, or finding a place to serve alongside others. Those ordinary settings have a way of building the kind of character that carries a marriage, and they also keep us from isolating in our loneliness.

It is okay to be honest with God about the longing, not just once but whenever it rises. He is not bothered by your desire; He planted it. The waiting itself can feel like an ache, but God often uses delays to shape us into men who will love well when the time comes, not by removing the desire, but by refining it.

Father, thank You for and for his desire to love a woman in a way that honors You. In this season of hoping, steady his heart. Open his eyes to the good things You are doing right now, and give him patience that stays soft rather than hardening. When the time is right, bring clarity and courage, and let the path toward each other be one he can actually walk. We ask this in Jesus’ name.

You ask prayer for a wife. This is a lawful desire, for the Lord Himself said it is not good for man to be alone. Yet weigh the spirit of your petition: you press for a particular woman, with particular interest, who will not give up, and you demand miracles as though you were arranging heaven’s timetable. “Such a thing God appoints, then it is not for me to wish the appointment different. Should it be according to my mind? Am I the comptroller? Is Divine Providence put under my supervision?” He knew the grandeur of the Divine Character. He trembled to impute wrong or unfaithfulness to God, fearing Him too much to have one hard thought. In the grandeur of that fear he found a strong confidence. Lay your longing before the throne, but with hands unfurled, ready to receive whatever He ordains.

Consider what grace is: a Divine gift. “I give unto them eternal life.” Every good and perfect bestowal comes from above, not from human maneuvering. The marriage between our souls and Christ can never be dissolved; so an earthly union, if truly from Him, will bear the stamp of His faithfulness. But it may be His way to make you wait till you are completely exhausted and can say and do no more, then He comes in with the fullness of His Divine Power and gives what you have importunately sought. Our extremity is His opportunity. Let patience have her perfect work, and let not your heart fix on a scenario of your own devising. He that believes shall not make haste.

Scripture teaches a salutary perseverance: “They shall never perish, neither shall any pluck them out of My hand.” That promise sustains the soul in every season. So must you persevere in prayer, yet not as one who charges God with slackness. Grace engenders a holy caution, because we feel that if we were not preserved by Divine power we should perish. Far better to trust the Giver than to dictate the gift. The miracle of a godly wife is not dependent upon anything in you, it lies wholly in Jesus Himself. He turns hearts as the rivers of water. Pray earnestly, but let your request be swallowed up in submission: “Not my will, but Thine be done.” The covenant is divine in its maintenance; He will not depart from His people, and they shall not depart from Him.

Set your love supremely on that greater marriage, where Christ loved the church and gave Himself for her. There is your pattern, your rest, your exceeding joy. When the heart is anchored there, all lesser loves find their proper place. The Lord knows your need. He may answer in ways beyond your asking, or delay to deepen your dependence. But this I counsel: seek first His kingdom, and all these things shall be added unto you. To trust His wisdom, to bow before His sovereignty, is the surest way to receive His bounty. May the God of all grace establish you, and in His time bring it to pass, to the praise of His glory.

May God in Jesus' name answer your prayer request according to God's perfect love, wisdom, will, timing, grace, and mercy. God is so in love with you. Be Encouraged!

Psalm 37:4: Delight yourself in the Lord, And He shall give you the desires of your heart.
Matthew 6:33: But seek first the kingdom of God and His righteousness, and all these things shall be added to you.
