Pray for me to meet a woman

Hello! My name is ###. I live in ###. I have a prayer request. Pray in Jesus name and pray with love. Please continue to pray for me to meet a woman God wants me to love and marry and pray God makes it possible in practical ways to get to know each other when we meet. Pray that God sends me a woman that really has interest in getting to know me and will not give up on me until I am hers and she is mine. Pray for miracles to happen in my life. God bless you! Best regards ###

We hear your heart’s longing for a godly wife, and we join you in bringing this desire before the Lord in Jesus’ name. Your prayer is not just about finding someone to share life with, it is about finding the woman God has prepared for you, one who will walk with you in faith, love, and purpose. We are grateful you have come before the throne of grace with this request, acknowledging that only God can orchestrate such a divine connection.

First, we want to affirm the importance of seeking God’s will above all else. Proverbs 19:14 tells us, "House and riches are an inheritance from fathers, but a prudent wife is from Yahweh." This reminds us that a godly marriage is a gift from the Lord, and He delights in blessing His children with spouses who will help them grow in Christ. As you wait, we encourage you to cultivate a heart of contentment and trust in God’s timing. Psalm 37:4-5 says, "Also delight yourself in Yahweh, and he will give you the desires of your heart. Commit your way to Yahweh. Trust also in him, and he will do this." Delighting in the Lord means finding joy in Him first, trusting that He will fulfill His promises in His perfect time.

We also want to gently remind you that the foundation of any godly marriage must be Christ-centered. As you pray for a wife, pray also that she is a woman of faith, one who loves the Lord with all her heart, soul, and mind (Matthew 22:37). A marriage built on shared devotion to Christ will withstand the trials of life and bring glory to God. We encourage you to prepare your own heart as well, growing in your relationship with Jesus, so that you may be the husband God calls you to be. Ephesians 5:25 instructs, "Husbands, love your wives, even as Christ also loved the assembly, and gave himself up for it." This kind of love is sacrificial, selfless, and rooted in Christ’s example.

We do want to address the language used in your request, particularly the repeated references to "love" and "interest" in a way that could be misconstrued. While it is natural to desire affection and connection, we must guard our hearts against placing romantic love above our love for God. 1 John 2:15 warns, "Don’t love the world or the things that are in the world. If anyone loves the world, the Father’s love isn’t in him." Our ultimate satisfaction must come from Christ, not from another person. We encourage you to seek first God’s kingdom and His righteousness (Matthew 6:33), trusting that He will add all these things, including a godly wife, unto you.

We also want to rebuke any spirit of impatience or desperation that may be creeping into your heart. Waiting on the Lord can be difficult, but it is in the waiting that our faith is refined. Isaiah 40:31 reminds us, "But those who wait for Yahweh will renew their strength. They will mount up with wings like eagles. They will run, and not be weary. They will walk, and not faint." Do not rush ahead of God’s timing or settle for someone who does not share your faith or values. A marriage entered into hastily or without godly discernment can lead to heartache and disobedience.

We pray that God would prepare the heart of the woman He has for you, just as He is preparing yours. May she be a woman who fears the Lord, whose character is marked by wisdom, kindness, and strength (Proverbs 31:30). Pray that God would open doors for you to meet in ways that honor Him, through church, godly friendships, or other avenues where His hand is clearly at work. Ask the Lord to give you discernment to recognize her when you meet, and to give her the same clarity.

Let us pray together:

Heavenly Father, we come before You in the mighty name of Jesus, lifting up our brother who seeks a godly wife. Lord, You know the desires of his heart, and we trust that You will fulfill them according to Your perfect will. We ask that You would prepare him to be the husband You have called him to be, a man after Your own heart, full of love, patience, and wisdom. Father, we pray for the woman You have chosen for him. Prepare her heart, draw her closer to You, and give her a deep desire to walk in Your ways. Lord, we ask that You would bring them together in Your perfect timing, in a way that glorifies You and strengthens their faith.

We rebuke any spirit of loneliness, impatience, or desperation that may try to take root in his heart. Fill him with Your peace and contentment, reminding him that his worth is found in You alone. Guard his heart from any relationships that do not align with Your Word, and give him the strength to wait for Your best. Lord, we ask for miracles in his life, not just in finding a wife, but in seeing Your hand at work in every area of his life. Open doors that no man can shut, and close doors that are not of You.

We pray that as he seeks You first, You would add all these things unto him. May his life be a testimony of Your faithfulness, and may his future marriage be a reflection of Christ’s love for the Church. We ask all these things in the precious name of Jesus, the name above all names, the only name by which we are saved and can come before You. Amen.

Continue to seek the Lord with all your heart, trusting that He who began a good work in you will complete it until the day of Jesus Christ (Philippians 1:6). Walk in obedience, remain in prayer, and let your life be a living testimony of God’s goodness. The right woman will come, and when she does, it will be worth the wait.

Hello ,

Thank you for reaching out and trusting us to pray with you about something so close to your heart. We hear the longing in your words, to meet a woman God has for you, to find someone who will truly invest in getting to know you, and to see God move in ways that can only be called miraculous. That's a good and honest desire, and we're glad to stand with you in it.

While we pray for the future you're hoping for, we also ask God to anchor your heart right now in His peace and purpose. The season of waiting can sometimes feel empty or frustrating, but it's often in those times that God deepens who we are and prepares us for what's ahead. Staying active in Christian community, serving where you can, and simply being present in the places where faith and friendship intersect often puts us in the path of others who share our values. We're not saying that as a checklist, just as an encouragement that God can work through everyday life.

We join you in asking for a woman who genuinely wants to know you, who won't give up easily, and who shares your love for the Lord. And we pray for miracles, not only in the meeting, but in timing, in changed hearts, and in the kind of practical openings that make a real connection possible.

Lord Jesus, we lift ### to You now. You see his desire for a wife, and You know the woman You have in mind. Give him wisdom and patience in these days, and when the time is right, let their paths cross unmistakably. Fill his life with Your presence and hope, and let him sense Your kindness every step of the way. We ask all of this in Your name, amen.

May God in Jesus' name answer your prayer request according to God's perfect love, wisdom, will, timing, grace, and mercy. God is so in love with you. Be Encouraged!

Psalm 37:4: Delight yourself in the Lord, And He shall give you the desires of your heart.
Matthew 6:33: But seek first the kingdom of God and His righteousness, and all these things shall be added to you.

Heal Me Lord Jesus Spirit, Soul, And Body

It is a good thing that this desire has been brought before the throne of grace, for whatsoever we would have God do for us must first be spread before Him in believing prayer. There is no true blessing that He withholds from them that walk uprightly, and a godly spouse is among His choicest gifts. Yet remember, that which God appoints is not for us to twist according to our own mind. Should it be according to our schedule? Are we the comptroller of Divine Providence? The child of God dares not impute unfaithfulness to the Lord, but trembles to utter one mistrustful word. In the grandeur of that fear rises a strong confidence, He knows what is best, and when.

You ask for miracles. I recall that the first miracle Christ worked was at a marriage, turning water into wine, and in that He stamped His blessing upon the sacred union. But observe the greater wonder: every soul brought to Christ is a mass of miracles. If the Lord can turn a great sinner into a sincere penitent, how easily He can bring two hearts together in His fear! The power lies wholly in Jesus Himself; it is not dependent upon anything in you or in her. He is grand in emergencies, and He works spontaneously, even when we are all unreadiness. Have you considered the miracle of the loaves in your own life? He who fed the thousands with a boy’s few loaves can provide the helpmeet you need out of what seems nothing. Only keep your eye upon Him, not upon the waves of your loneliness.

Yet let no one suppose that a miracle would be wrought merely to gratify a whim. The Lord’s power is not a common thing to be commanded at our beck. It comes with the Divine Word, and that Word often works in an instant. A touch, a word from Him, and the soul is loosed from its infirmity. But we must be found in the path of duty, regular in the means of grace, not imagining that church attendance alone works blessing. Dear friend, the essence of the marriage bond is unity, and in this our union with Christ is the true pattern. He loved the Church and gave Himself for it; earthly marriage is but a shadow of that substance. Can you believe that such a love might be granted to you in no fiction, no myth, but indeed and in truth? His love has made it so for all His people, and we may paraphrase the wonder: Behold, what manner of love the Bridegroom has bestowed, that we should be called the sons of God, and partakers of every covenant mercy.

Let your first cry be for more of that heavenly Bridegroom, and then with a calm heart commit the lesser request. If a wife be for your good, she will come as surely as the harvest follows sowing. The godly man longs for a succession of godly households, and a true helpmeet is not one who gives up until you are hers and she yours, for such perseverance is born of humility and of the life of God in the soul. Look not first for a woman who will not give up on you, but for the grace to be the kind of man who will not give up on Christ. Then when you are bound continually upon your heart the immortal principles of the Divine life, you may trust the Lord to direct your ways.

I will pray with you and for you. Let it be in the name of Jesus, with love unfeigned, that the Lord would make a straight path for your feet, and if it please Him, bring a sister in Christ who shall walk with you toward the celestial city. Wait upon the Lord; be of good courage, and He shall strengthen thy heart.

You ask prayer to meet a woman and desire miracles and practical signs. Yet understand this: the greatest miracle is not an extraordinary encounter, but a life of virtue and purity. For God is not so much pleased by wonders as by the keeping of His commandments. If you would find a wife, first become a man who loves not for his own sake, but for Christ’s sake. Love of money and impatience have plunged many into fornication; marriage was given to preserve the body pure, not to gratify restless passions. Do not seek a sign as though God were your debtor; rather, commit your way to Him and give heed to your own soul. The woman God wills for you will not come by miraculous compulsion, but by the quiet guidance of Providence when you are walking in holiness. Therefore, pray not merely for a wife on your own terms, but for grace to embrace God’s will, whether in honorable marriage or chaste singleness. Let your life itself become a sign that draws others to Christ, and trust that He who cares for the sparrows will order all things for your good.

What a joy to bring this request before the Lord alongside you. I am praying earnestly in Jesus’ name, with the love He pours into our hearts, that you would meet the woman He has for you.

It is a wonderful thing to desire marriage, a covenant where two become one, a picture of Christ and His church. Yet I am reminded that every true miracle begins with a posture of wholehearted surrender to Jesus. When He called the first disciples, they left their nets immediately to follow Him. He was willing to cleanse the leper with a word: “I am willing; be thou clean.” That same divine willingness is at work in your life today, but His greatest work is to make you whole from the inside out. Before we ask for any earthly gift, He invites us to bring our sin and our longings to Him, trusting that He alone has power to forgive and restore.

I pray that God will make a way for you to meet a godly woman, someone whose heart is truly fixed on Him, who will see Christ in you and not quickly turn away. But the deepest miracle you need is not just a meeting; it is for your soul to be so anchored in Jesus that you shine with the superiority of the spiritual life over every passing care. A woman who loves the Lord will be drawn to a man who is not consumed by the world’s anxieties or the deceitfulness of riches, but who walks in the peace of divine purpose. So I ask God to cultivate that quiet root in you, so that when He brings her, you will be ready.

Remember that Jesus’ miracles always served a greater end, they displayed His divine nature so that people might believe and follow Him. Do not let the longing for a spouse become an obstacle to the rest and trust you have in Christ right now. He knows your need. He heard the cry of the leper; He sees your heart. He may choose to work in ways that stretch your patience or defy your expectations, but He will never withhold what is truly good. Even when His answers seem slow, the prophecies of His faithfulness will be fulfilled in your life.

I am praying for miracles, yes, miracles of open doors, of clear communication, of mutual interest and godly commitment. But also for the miracle of a heart that can say, “Not my will, but Yours be done.” That kind of surrender opens the way for His power to flow without hindrance. May you never explain away His workings by unbelief, but meet His grace with eager faith.

Standing with you in prayer.
