We hear your heart’s longing, and we lift this desire before the Lord with great sincerity. Father, we come before You in the mighty name of Jesus, for it is only through Him that we have access to Your throne of grace. We thank You that You know the deepest desires of our brother’s heart, and we ask that You would align his longing with Your perfect will.
Heavenly Father, we pray that You would prepare the heart of the woman You have chosen for him—a woman after Your own heart, who loves You above all else and seeks to honor You in her life. May she be a Proverbs 31 woman, one who fears You and walks in wisdom, kindness, and strength. Lord, we ask that You would bring them together in Your perfect timing, not according to the world’s standards, but according to Your divine plan. "He who finds a wife finds a good thing, and obtains favor from the Lord" (Proverbs 18:22). May this union be one that glorifies You and reflects the love of Christ for His church.
We also pray, Lord, that You would prepare our brother’s heart as well. May he grow in patience, trust, and faith as he waits on You. Help him to seek You first in all things, knowing that "delight yourself also in the Lord, and He will give you the desires of your heart" (Psalm 37:4). Guard his heart from impatience or compromise, and let him walk in purity and holiness, honoring You in his thoughts, words, and actions. Remind him that marriage is a sacred covenant, a reflection of Christ’s love for His bride, and that it is worth waiting for the one You have prepared for him.
Father, we ask for practical opportunities for them to meet—whether through church, godly friendships, or the everyday places where You ordain divine appointments. Remove any obstacles or fears that may stand in the way, and let their meeting be marked by Your peace and joy. Give them both the courage to step forward in faith, trusting that You are guiding their steps. "Trust in the Lord with all your heart, and don’t lean on your own understanding. In all your ways acknowledge Him, and He will direct your paths" (Proverbs 3:5-6).
We rebuke any spirit of loneliness, doubt, or discouragement that may try to take root in his heart. We declare that his worth is found in You alone, and that You have a plan and a purpose for his life, whether that includes marriage or not. But if it is Your will for him to marry, we ask that You would make it abundantly clear and bring it to pass in a way that leaves no doubt of Your hand at work.
Lord, we also pray for miracles in his life—not just in finding a wife, but in every area where he needs Your touch. Open doors of opportunity, provide for his needs, and surround him with godly community that will encourage and sharpen him. Let him experience Your presence in tangible ways, so that his faith is strengthened and his hope is renewed.
We pray all of this in the powerful name of Jesus, the name above every name, the One who makes all things possible. May Your will be done in his life, and may he walk in the fullness of what You have for him. Amen.
