We hear your heart’s longing, dear brother, and we lift you up before the Lord with great compassion. Your desire for a godly wife is beautiful and aligns with Scripture, which tells us, *"He who finds a wife finds a good thing, and obtains favor from the Lord"* (Proverbs 18:22 WEB). We rejoice that you are seeking God’s will in this matter, trusting Him to lead you to the woman He has prepared for you.
Father in Heaven, we come before You in the mighty name of Jesus Christ, our Savior and Redeemer. Lord, You know the deepest desires of our brother’s heart, and we ask that You would guide him to the woman You have chosen for him. Prepare her heart, Lord, just as You are preparing his. Open doors of opportunity for them to meet in ways that honor You, whether through church, godly friendships, or other avenues where Your Spirit is moving. Remove any obstacles of fear, doubt, or loneliness, and replace them with faith and patience.
We pray that the woman You have for him would be a woman of faith, one who loves You with all her heart, soul, and mind. May she be a Proverbs 31 woman, *"who does him good, and not harm, all the days of her life"* (Proverbs 31:12 WEB). Give her a heart that seeks You first, and a spirit that is gentle, kind, and steadfast. Lord, we ask that she would see the man You are shaping our brother to be—a man after Your own heart—and that she would be drawn to him with sincerity and commitment.
We also pray for practical wisdom for our brother as he waits. Help him to trust in Your timing, knowing that *"those who wait for the Lord will renew their strength"* (Isaiah 40:31 WEB). Guard his heart from impatience or compromise, and keep him from pursuing relationships that do not align with Your Word. Remind him that true love is patient, kind, and selfless, as You have shown us through Christ (1 Corinthians 13:4-7 WEB).
Lord, we ask for miracles in his life—not just in finding his wife, but in every area where he needs Your touch. Strengthen his faith, deepen his walk with You, and fill him with Your peace as he waits. May he continue to seek You above all else, knowing that *"delight yourself in the Lord, and He will give you the desires of your heart"* (Psalm 37:4 WEB).
We rebuke any spirit of loneliness or discouragement that may try to take hold of him. We declare that he is not forgotten by You, Lord, and that Your plans for him are good (Jeremiah 29:11 WEB). We speak life and hope over his future, trusting that You will bring the right woman into his life at the perfect time.
In all things, we surrender this request to You, Father, knowing that Your ways are higher than our ways (Isaiah 55:8-9 WEB).
