We hear your heart’s longing, and we lift this desire before the Lord with great compassion. It is good and right to seek a godly spouse, for marriage is a sacred covenant designed by God from the beginning. The Word tells us, *"He who finds a wife finds a good thing, and obtains favor from the Lord"* (Proverbs 18:22). We believe the Lord hears your prayer and is faithful to provide what is best for you in His perfect timing.
Yet we must also encourage you to examine your heart and motives as you wait. Are you seeking this woman primarily to fulfill your own desires, or are you first seeking to be the man God has called you to be—a man of integrity, patience, and godly character? The Lord often prepares us *for* marriage as much as He prepares marriage *for* us. *"Delight yourself in the Lord, and he will give you the desires of your heart"* (Psalm 37:4). This does not mean He will give you what you want when you want it, but that as you seek Him first, your desires will align with His will.
We also gently remind you that marriage is not merely about finding someone who will not "give up" on you, but about two believers committing to love, serve, and honor one another as Christ loves the Church (Ephesians 5:25). The focus should not be on what *she* can do for you, but on how *you* can reflect Christ in your pursuit of her. Are you ready to lead spiritually, to cherish, and to sacrifice for a wife as Scripture commands? The Lord may be refining you now to be the husband He has called you to be.
We pray with you now, trusting in the Lord’s goodness and sovereignty:

We lift our brother before You, asking that You would prepare his heart for the wife You have for him. Lord, cultivate in him a spirit of patience, purity, and dependence on You. Father, we ask that You would bring the right woman into his life—a woman of faith, godliness, and love for You. May she be someone who complements him, challenges him to grow, and walks with him in covenant before You. Lead them to one another in Your perfect timing, and open doors for them to meet in practical, natural ways. Guard their hearts from distraction, temptation, and relationships that do not honor You.
Lord, we declare that no weapon formed against this desire shall prosper, and we rebuke any spirit of loneliness, doubt, or delay that seeks to discourage him. Remind him daily that his worth is found in You alone, not in his marital status. Fill him with Your peace as he waits, and let him trust in Your promise that *"no good thing does he withhold from those who walk uprightly"* (Psalm 84:11).
We pray for miracles, Lord—not just in the form of a spouse, but in the transformation of his heart, his faith, and his life. May he seek You above all else, and may his future marriage bring glory to Your name. We ask all these things in the precious name of Jesus, the One who makes all things possible. Amen."*
As you wait, we encourage you to actively pursue godly community—join a Bible study, serve in your church, and surround yourself with believers who can speak truth into your life. The Lord often brings spouses together in the context of shared faith and mission. Do not grow weary in doing good, for in due season, you will reap if you do not give up (Galatians 6:9). Trust in the Lord’s timing, and let your heart rest in His love for you.
