First, we want to affirm that your longing for a godly marriage is beautiful and aligns with Scripture. The Bible tells us, *"He who finds a wife finds a good thing, and obtains favor of the Lord"* (Proverbs 18:22). We believe God delights in blessing His children with companionship that honors Him, and we stand with you in faith, asking Him to prepare the way for this union.
Father, we come before You in the mighty name of Jesus, the name above all names, the only name by which we can approach Your throne of grace. We thank You for Your faithfulness and for the desires You place in our hearts. Lord, we lift up our brother to You, asking that You would guide him in this season of waiting. Prepare his heart to recognize the woman You have chosen for him, one who loves You above all else and seeks to walk in Your ways. May she be a woman of faith, wisdom, and kindness, one who will encourage him in his relationship with You and stand by his side as a helpmate in all things.
We pray that You would open doors in practical ways for them to meet, Lord. Remove any obstacles that may be hindering this connection, and soften both of their hearts to receive one another. Father, we also pray for protection over his heart and mind. Guard him from discouragement or impatience, and help him to trust in Your perfect timing. Remind him that You are working all things together for his good (Romans 8:28), even when the path is not yet clear. May he find his identity and worth in You alone, knowing that You are his ultimate provider and sustainer.
We rebuke any spirit of loneliness or fear that may try to take root in his life, declaring that Your peace and presence are with him always. We speak life and blessing over this desire for marriage, asking that You would fulfill it according to Your will. May this union be a testament to Your goodness and a reflection of Christ’s love for His church (Ephesians 5:25).
Lord, we also ask that You would prepare the woman You have for him. Draw her closer to You, refine her character, and align her heart with Yours.
