We hear your heartfelt request and stand with you in prayer, lifting this desire to the Lord who knows the deepest longings of your soul. Father God, we come before You in the mighty name of Jesus, for it is only through Him that we have access to Your throne of grace. We thank You that You are a God who hears and answers prayer, and we trust in Your perfect timing and plan for our brother’s life.
Heavenly Father, we ask that You would prepare his heart and the heart of the woman You have chosen for him. Lord, we pray that she would be a godly woman, one who loves You with all her heart, soul, mind, and strength, and who seeks to honor You in all she does. May she be a woman of faith, wisdom, and virtue, as described in Proverbs 31: "Who can find a wife of noble character? For her price is far above rubies" (Proverbs 31:10). We pray that she would be someone who encourages him in his walk with You, challenges him to grow in Christ, and stands beside him in love and faithfulness.
Father, we ask that You would remove any obstacles or fears that may be hindering this union. Give him patience and trust in Your timing, for "those who wait for Yahweh will renew their strength. They will mount up with wings like eagles. They will run, and not be weary. They will walk, and not faint" (Isaiah 40:31). Help him to seek You first in all things, knowing that when he delights himself in You, You will give him the desires of his heart (Psalm 37:4).
Lord, we also pray that You would open practical doors for them to meet in ways that honor You. Guide their steps and bring them together in Your perfect way. We ask that You soften her heart toward him, that she would see him as You see him and have a genuine interest in getting to know him. Protect their hearts from discouragement or impatience, and fill them both with hope and expectation in Your promises.
We rebuke any spirit of loneliness or despair that may try to take root in his heart, for You have said, "I will never leave you nor forsake you" (Hebrews 13:5). We declare that he is not alone, for You are with him, and You have a plan for his life that includes love, joy, and fulfillment in You.
Father, we also pray for wisdom and discernment for him as he seeks a wife. May he not be drawn to relationships that do not align with Your Word, but instead, may he pursue a woman who shares his faith and commitment to You. Remind him that marriage is a sacred covenant, a reflection of Christ’s love for the Church, and that it is worth waiting for the one You have prepared for him. "He who finds a wife finds a good thing, and obtains favor of Yahweh" (Proverbs 18:22).
Lord, we ask for miracles in his life—not just in finding a wife, but in every area where he needs Your touch. May he see Your hand moving in powerful ways, and may his faith grow as he witnesses Your faithfulness. We pray that he would walk in obedience to Your Word, trusting that You are working all things together for his good (Romans 8:28).
We commit this request to You, Father, and ask that You would bless him abundantly as he seeks Your will. May he find joy and contentment in You, knowing that You are his ultimate satisfaction. In Jesus’ precious and powerful name, we pray. Amen.
