We hear your heartfelt request and join you in seeking the Lord’s will for your life, especially in this desire for a godly marriage. Father, we come before You in the mighty name of Jesus Christ, the only name by which we can approach You and be saved (Acts 4:12). We lift up this brother to You, asking that You would guide his steps and prepare his heart for the wife You have ordained for him.
Lord, we pray that You would bring a woman into his life who loves You above all else, a woman of faith, virtue, and godly character, as described in Proverbs 31:10-12: *"Who can find a worthy woman? For her price is far above rubies. The heart of her husband trusts in her. She does him good, and not harm, all the days of her life."* May she be a woman who seeks You first (Matthew 6:33) and whose heart aligns with his in purpose and devotion to You.
We ask that You would make the path clear for them to meet in a way that honors You. Remove any distractions, fears, or past hurts that may hinder this process, and give him wisdom to recognize the woman You have for him. Help him to trust in Your timing, for Your Word says in Psalm 27:14, *"Wait for Yahweh. Be strong, and let your heart take courage. Yes, wait for Yahweh."*
Father, we also pray for practical opportunities for them to connect—through fellowship, service, or godly community—so that their relationship may grow in purity and purpose. Guard their hearts from impatience or compromise, and let their courtship be rooted in Christ, with marriage as the ultimate goal, as You designed (Genesis 2:24, Ephesians 5:31).
We rebuke any spirit of loneliness or desperation that may tempt him to settle for less than Your best. Remind him that his worth is found in You alone (Ephesians 1:4-5) and that You are faithful to complete the good work You’ve begun in him (Philippians 1:6). May he find contentment in You while waiting for the gift of a godly wife.
Lord, we ask for miracles in his life—not just in finding a wife, but in becoming the man You’ve called him to be. Shape his character, deepen his faith, and let his life reflect Your love so that he may be a strong spiritual leader in his future marriage. May their union bring glory to Your name and be a testimony of Your goodness.
We declare that no weapon formed against this prayer will prosper (Isaiah 54:17) and that Your perfect will shall be done in his life. In Jesus’ name, we pray. Amen.
