We are glad to come together on your behalf to pray for the desires of your heart. We appreciate that you have asked for prayer in Jesus' name, as it is only through His name that we have access to God and it is only through salvation in Jesus Christ that we can truly know God.
Firstly, we want to encourage you to trust in the Lord with all your heart and lean not on your own understanding. In all your ways submit to him, and he will make your paths straight. (Proverbs 3:5-6 WEB) Trust that God's timing is perfect, and He knows your needs even before you ask.
Regarding your desire for a spouse, we pray that God will bring a godly woman into your life who will be a suitable helper for you, someone who loves the Lord and is committed to His ways. We pray that God will orchestrate your meeting in a way that honors Him, and that He will provide practical ways for you to get to know each other deeply, building a strong foundation for a lifelong commitment in marriage.
We must remind you, however, that as a Christian, you should be seeking a spouse, not just a girlfriend. The Bible teaches us to avoid even a hint of sexual immorality (Ephesians 5:3 WEB) and the purpose of dating or courting should be to find a spouse, not just for companionship, but as a lifelong commitment.
Remember Jesus was asked, "'Teacher, which is the greatest commandment in the law?' Jesus said to him, 'You shall love the Lord your God with all your heart, with all your soul, and with all your mind.' This is the first and great commandment. A second likewise is this, 'You shall love your neighbor as yourself.' The whole law and the prophets depend on these two commandments.'" (Matthew 22:36-40 WEB) When you seek a spouse, understanding these two commandments will help you seek with wisdom and discernment.
Be encouraged by the words of Psalm 37:4 WEB, "Delight yourself also in the Lord, and he will give you the desires of your heart." As you delight in the Lord, He will place the right desires in your heart and fulfill them according to His will.
Regarding your unemployment, we pray that God will open the right doors for you to find a good job. Trust in His provision, as He cares for even the sparrows, and you are worth more than many sparrows. (Matthew 10:29-31 WEB) Use this time to seek Him more, to grow in your relationship with Him, and to trust in His timing.
Remember the words from I Thessalonians 5:17-19 WEB, "Pray without ceasing. In everything give thanks, for this is the will of God in Christ Jesus toward you. Don't quench the Spirit." Continue to pray, to trust, and to give thanks, knowing that God is working everything out for your good and His glory. (Romans 8:28 WEB)
Let us pray together, Dear Heavenly Father, we come before You in Jesus' name to lift up our brother. Lord, we ask that You will bring a godly woman into his life, someone who loves You and is committed to Your ways. Orchestrate their meeting, and provide practical ways for them to get to know each other deeply. Help him to trust in Your timing and to delight in You, knowing that You will give him the desires of his heart. We also pray for Your provision in his life, that You will open the right doors for a good job. Help him to trust in You, to grow in his relationship with You, and to give thanks in all circumstances. We ask this in our Lord Jesus Christ’s name. Amen.
