Hello my name is ### and my husband's name is ###. My husband, I hate to say this but my husband has narcissistic tendencies. He tries to gaslight me, manipulate, and speaks half truths. I have caught him in some of these. And the most hurtful one is I believe he has had relationships with other woman or one woman I believe outside of our marriage that has been evident to me. It might not have been sexual because he swears he never cheated on me but nonetheless. The thing he keeps secrets and he does not want to come clean or deal with anything and he is notorious for twisting words to exhaust me and playing dumb. He was once walking with the Lord but something happened and it’s as if he gave himself over to that spirit. Even though he reads his devotional and plays the part, his actions and behavior say differently. I am an authentic person and I do not do well at pretending and having to pretend like I am fine when he is hurting my soul and affecting my health at times. I have no where I can go and I have a disability (MS) on top of that. It would be useless to confront him as I know he will try to gaslight and psychologically try to mess with my head. I barely want to hug him or be close to him in fact sometimes I think it’s a game to him. And in the back of my mind now I have that if I don’t he will go get that elsewhere which let’s be honest he might already have. I might have a smile on my face but my eyes are slowly dimming and my anxiety is high when I am around him. I am a born again spirit filled believer and I have been doing warfare. There is so much more but I will stop. I need someone to pray for me please and this situation. Thank you

We are truly saddened to hear about the difficulties you are facing in your marriage. Let us first address the most important aspect: while you mentioned that you are a born-again, spirit-filled believer, you did not mention the name of Jesus Christ. It is only through the name of Jesus that we have access to God the Father, He is our only mediator and savior.

As it is written: "For there is one God, and one mediator between God and men, the man Christ Jesus, Who gave himself as a ransom for all; the testimony in its own times;" (1 Timothy 2:5-6, WEB)

Let us pray for you and your husband.

Dear Heavenly Father,

We come before You in the name of Jesus Christ, lifting up our sister in Christ who is facing immense challenges in her marriage. Lord, You know the pain and suffering she is experiencing, the manipulation, the gaslighting, and the potential infidelity. We pray that You would intervene in this situation and bring conviction to her husband's heart. Expose any hidden sins and bring them to light, so that repentance and restoration can occur. We pray for his heart to turn back towards you and the marriage. We know that you have the power to change his heart of stone to one of flesh.

Furthermore, we know that the Bible calls on husbands to love their wives. Eph. 5:25 “Husbands, love your wives, even as Christ also loved the assembly, and gave himself up for it;” We pray that your husband would follow this biblical command to love his wife with the love of Christ.

We also pray for our sister, that You would grant her wisdom and the courage to confront him appropriately and if necessary, to reach out to church leaders for assistance. We know that true love does not delight in evil but rejoices with the truth (1 Corinthians 13:6).

Lord, we ask that You would heal her from the pain and anxiety she is experiencing and restore her health and strength. Surround her with Your peace and comfort, and guide her every step of the way. We do not know the details of how deliverance and restoration will come, but we do know that nothing is impossible for you.

We also pray for the heart and salvation of your husband. Help him to come back to the Lord. As a man walks away from the Lord, the more likely he is to fall victim to the devil's schemes. The sin within his own heart, when indulged, can be devastating. We know that you can do all things, and we pray for his deliverance from sin.

In the name of Jesus Christ, we pray for deliverance and break the power of any sinful strongholds or influences in Jesus' name.

We pray. (James 5:16) Therefore, confess your sins to one another, and pray for one another, so that you may be healed. The prayer of a righteous person is very powerful in its effect.

We encourage you to continue in prayer and to seek godly counsel from your church leaders. Remember that God is faithful, and He will not let you be tempted beyond what you can bear (1 Corinthians 10:13). Trust in Him, and He will see you through this trial.

Lastly, we must address that separation and divorce should only be a last resort, and only if absolutely necessary and biblically warranted. It is not to be used as a means to fix a bad situation, but rather to end a marriage that has been broken beyond repair by sexual immorality or abandonment by an unbelieving spouse. Our God is a God of forgiveness, mercy, and restoration. We pray that your marriage can be saved through the power of Jesus Christ.

Stand strong in your faith, and know that we are praying for you and your husband with hearts full of love and wisdom. Let the words of your mouth and the meditations of your heart be acceptable to the Lord (Psalm 19:14).

I wanted to commit suicide once, I even came up with a plan. Right before I headed out the door I posted a prayer on here and hoping there might be help from God one last time I opened the Bible and only read take no thought for your life. I read that before at least 100 times but never really could understand how. This time I took it to heart, all right God I will end my life by not thinking about it. I take no thought, I take no thought, I take no thought over and over and over again I take no thought was my only thought that day. All of a sudden I noticed something, Jesus showed up, all my pains were gone, no neck ache, no back pain, no leg pain from many many accidents I had over the years and no pain in my heart as my wife had left me. I started singing praises and thanks to Jesus and my life has never been the same. It is our obedience to God from His Holy Instructions that makes a difference to His Power of His Promises in our lives.

Be a doer of Jesus friend, it really makes a difference! Thank You Lord Jesus!

Search the Bible for Jesus' Promises friend, do them and claim them in Jesus! Amen! Thank You Lord Jesus!

Powerful healing promise hidden in Proverbs 3:7-8, I am not wise in my own eyes, I fear You Lord, I depart from evil, especially my own evil thoughts and my flesh is healed and my body is refreshed in Jesus.

Lord make me the Child of God You need me to be in Christ for all those around me and for the world to see (Psalms 128:3). Not by my might, nor by my power, but by Your Spirt Christ Jesus (Zechariah 4:6) this shall happen. And it will happen, it is happening now in Your timing, Power, Strength, Might, and Spirit, Christ Jesus. God all that I have asked of you in this prayer please do the same for all those I love, care about, and every faithful prayer warrior on this site. Thank You, Thank You, Thank You Lord Jesus, my Savior and Lord for answering this prayer with a Yes and Amen.
