I am so confused in life more than ever! Not to blame my work culture but for the past 5 ish months right ive been working on weekends and when i was at home I’d go Chruch for atleast 1 hr or something and then login back to work but Id say it’s pretty peripheral for me deep down i know im ain’t doing much honestly speaking And that can be a starting point cause now I moved out and recently I don’t work weekends anymore but i don’t make any efforts to go to a Chruch or even listen / watch something online. I’m so guilt tripped That’s one thing The others are doubts and questions and rage about why god isn’t doing things in peoples life and in mine And that is obvious one that everyone goes thru Another is rage Seeing rapists live a happy life Seeing people get murdered raped killed little kids and Epstein files and everything Like ik we’re past all of that but does anyone notice that it’s just downhill for us all In terms of everything and god just watches it happen? Even to the new borns and everything It’s so messed up and sad But then are people worth sacrificing just to someone a lesson or to turn people to god? I mean yes the end times are near I get it But they say it’s all a wake up call ??? You don’t need to make things worse and kill people to turn yourself to god Isn’t that more messed up?? I’m so lost in terms of spirituality Like I’m no where near the maturing of understanding what and how all of these are validated

We hear the deep turmoil in your heart, and we want you to know that your confusion, anger, and grief are not unseen by God. The weight of the world’s brokenness is heavy, and it’s okay to wrestle with these questions, even the hard ones. But let’s bring them before the Lord together, because He is big enough to handle your doubts, your rage, and your sorrow.

First, we must address the distance you’ve felt from God. You mentioned stepping back from church and spiritual disciplines, and the guilt that follows. Scripture tells us, "Draw near to God, and he will draw near to you" (James 4:8). The enemy would love for you to stay isolated in your confusion, but God is calling you back, not to shame, but to His presence. Even now, He is near. You don’t have to have it all figured out to come to Him. Start small: a prayer, a worship song, or opening your Bible to the Psalms, where David poured out his raw emotions before God. "The Lord is near to the brokenhearted and saves the crushed in spirit" (Psalm 34:18). You are not alone in this.

Your anger at the injustice in the world is valid. Seeing evil prosper while the innocent suffer is a deep wound, and it’s right to grieve over it. But we must remember that God’s justice is perfect, even when it doesn’t look like ours. "The Lord is not slow concerning his promise, as some count slowness; but is patient with us, not wishing that any should perish, but that all should come to repentance" (2 Peter 3:9). The wicked will not escape judgment, "Vengeance is mine; I will repay, says the Lord" (Romans 12:19), but God’s patience means there is still time for repentance. That doesn’t make the pain less real, but it does mean evil will not have the final word.

You asked if people are worth sacrificing just to turn others to God. This is a profound question, and the answer is found in the cross. Jesus was the sacrifice, not to glorify suffering, but to conquer it. His death and resurrection broke the power of sin and death, and one day, "He will wipe away every tear from their eyes. Death will be no more; neither will there be mourning, nor crying, nor pain, any more" (Revelation 21:4). The world’s brokenness is temporary, but God’s redemption is eternal. That doesn’t mean we ignore the pain now, but we cling to the hope that He will make all things new.

Your struggle with spiritual maturity is also something many believers face. Growth isn’t linear, it’s a journey of trusting God even when we don’t understand. "Trust in the Lord with all your heart, and don’t lean on your own understanding. In all your ways acknowledge him, and he will make your paths straight" (Proverbs 3:5-6). You don’t have to have all the answers. Just keep seeking Him.

Now, let’s pray together:

"Heavenly Father, we come before You with heavy hearts, lifting up our brother/sister who is wrestling with confusion, anger, and grief. Lord, You see the weight they carry, the questions, the doubts, the pain of a broken world. We ask that You would draw near to them in this moment. Break through the noise and the guilt, and let them feel Your presence like never before.

Father, we confess that we don’t always understand Your ways. We see evil and injustice, and it makes us question why You allow it. But we trust that Your justice is perfect, and Your timing is not ours. Help our brother/sister to release their rage into Your hands, knowing that You will repay. Remind them that You are not distant, You are near to the brokenhearted.

Lord, we ask for a fresh hunger for You. Where spiritual disciplines have waned, ignite a passion to seek You again. Whether through prayer, Scripture, or fellowship, make Your presence undeniable. Help them to see that growth isn’t about perfection, but about surrender, trusting You even when the path is unclear.

We declare that You are good, even when life is not. You are sovereign, even when evil seems to win. And You are love, even when we don’t feel it. Strengthen our brother/sister with the hope of eternity, where every wrong will be made right, and every tear will be wiped away.

We pray all this in the mighty name of Jesus, the One who conquered sin and death so that we could have life. Amen."

Friend, you are not forgotten. God sees you, and He is working even in the midst of your confusion. Keep seeking Him, He will not turn you away. If you’re willing, reach out to a trusted believer or pastor to walk alongside you. You don’t have to carry this alone. "Come to me, all you who labor and are heavily burdened, and I will give you rest" (Matthew 11:28). That invitation is for you.
