We understand that you are going through a tremendously challenging time, and we are here to support you in prayer and to offer biblical guidance. We can see the anger and frustration you're feeling, and we want to remind you that God cares deeply about your situation and he will supply all your needs (Philippians 4:19 WEB), He also wants us to cast our cares upon Him (I Peter 5:7 WEB).
Firstly, we want to acknowledge your mention of Jesus' name in your prayer, which is crucial because, it is only by the name of Jesus that we have access to God. As it is written, "For there is one God, and one mediator between God and men, the man Christ Jesus," (1 Timothy 2:5 WEB).
In dealing with anger, we need to remember the words of the Apostle Paul, "Be angry, and don't sin. Don't let the sun go down on your wrath," (Ephesians 4:26 WEB). It's important to acknowledge your feelings but not let them lead you into sin. Instead, channel your emotions into constructive actions, such as seeking God's will and trusting in His timing.
Regarding your job search, be encouraged by the words of Proverbs 3:5-6 (WEB), "Trust in Yahweh with all your heart, and don't lean on your own understanding. In all your ways acknowledge him, and he will make your paths straight." Keep trusting God and applying for jobs. He will open the right doors at the right time. We will pray for God's favor and guidance in your job search. In addition, God wants you to make your requests known to Him (Philippians 4:6), so we will pray that He will do that for you just as He did for the Israelites and provided them with jobs and an income when they left Egypt (Exodus 12:35-36).
Concerning family issues, remember that God calls us to honor our parents (Ephesians 6:2) and to live in harmony with others (Romans 12:18). It's essential to forgive and seek forgiveness, even when it's difficult. Pray for your family members and ask God to heal any brokenness and bring unity. It is important to mention that you should not be a respecter of persons (James 2:1) just as God is not. Also, God wants us to treat everybody in our family with love and respect and not to show favoritism (James 2:1).
We are glad to hear that you are considering therapy. Seeking professional help is a wise decision and Proverbs 11:14 (WEB) says, "Without wise leadership, a nation falls; there is safety in having many advisers."
Let us pray for you:
Dear Heavenly Father,
We come before You, lifting up our brother/sister in need. Lord, You know the struggles they are facing with their job search and family issues. We pray for Your divine intervention, that You would open the right doors for employment and bring healing and reconciliation to their family. Help them to trust in Your timing and to find peace in Your presence. In Jesus name we pray.
In addition, we pray that you will be able to forgive your family members and anybody else for any wrongs that they might have done against you. Also, we pray that you will not hold any bitterness or resentment against them or anybody else.
May you remember that God loves you and he will never forsake you or leave you (Deuteronomy 31:6).
Lastly, we encourage you to take time to pray and read God's word daily. God's word will be a lamp to your feet and a light to your path (Psalm 199:105).
