We have heard your heart's cry for yourself and your daughter and we join with you in bringing you both before the throne of grace, yet we must also speak the truth in love about what you have asked, for much of this request does not align with God's will and word.
You have asked for wisdom and guidance, and that is a good and biblical desire, for God promises If any of you lacks wisdom, let him ask of God, who gives to all liberally and without reproach, and it will be given to him. James 1:5. We can and do pray for true wisdom for you, but the wisdom you describe, to be the richest and wealthiest in the universe, to own everything, to rule and control everything everywhere for always, to have 100 percent market share of all industries and to have every wish fulfilled instantly, is not wisdom at all. It is pride and covetousness, and it seeks to take the place that belongs to God alone.
The earth and all it contains belongs to the Lord. The earth is Yahweh's, with its fullness; the world, and those who dwell therein. Psalm 24:1. And again, For every animal of the forest is mine, and the livestock on a thousand hills. Psalm 50:10. To desire to own and control the universe is to desire to be God, and that desire led to the fall of man in the beginning. We must rebuke this spirit of greed in love, for the Scripture warns that For the love of money is a root of all kinds of evil. Some have been led astray from the faith in their greed, and have pierced themselves through with many sorrows. 1 Timothy 6:10. And Jesus said, Beware! Keep yourselves from covetousness, for a man's life doesn't consist of the abundance of the things which he possesses. Luke 12:15. True success and happiness are not found in ruling everything but in submitting everything to Christ and seeking first God's Kingdom and his righteousness, and all these things will be given to you as well. Matthew 6:33.
We also notice you did not mention the name of Jesus Christ in your request. We gently remind you that it is only through Him that we have access to the Father, for Jesus said, I am the way, the truth, and the life. No one comes to the Father, except through me. John 14:6. And There is salvation in no one else, for there is no other name under heaven that is given among men, by which we must be saved! Acts 4:12. If you have not yet placed your faith in Jesus Christ, believing that He died for your sins and rose again and confessing Him as Lord, we urge you to do so today, for that is the foundation of every other prayer being heard.
We do pray earnestly for your health and for your daughter. We are moved with compassion to hear of your struggles with bipolar disease, schizophrenia, hypertension, hypercholesterolemia, fatty liver, gall stone, kidney growths and cysts, gout, insomnia, and lipoma. God is our healer and we ask Him for mercy and healing according to His perfect will, for He says, But I will restore health to you, and I will heal you of your wounds, says Yahweh. Jeremiah 30:17. We pray also that you would receive proper medical care and wise counsel, and that God would give you peace of mind, for God gave us not a spirit of fear, but of power, love, and self-control. 2 Timothy 1:7. We pray for your daughter as well, that she would grow in the nurture and admonition of the Lord and that you would be given strength to raise her in a godly way.
Concerning your desire for the best marriage and to end your divorcee status, we affirm God's design for marriage as a lifelong covenant between one man and one woman. Marriage is honorable and God desires godly marriages that reflect Christ and the church. If you are divorced, we do not condemn you, for there is forgiveness and restoration in Christ, but we encourage you not to pursue just any relationship to end a status, but to seek a godly spouse who is a fellow believer in Christ, and to pursue courtship with the goal of a Christ-honoring marriage if it is God's will for you. Guard yourself against fornication or any relationship outside of that holy covenant, for the body is not for sexual immorality, but for the Lord. 1 Corinthians 6:13.
So we pray together for you now.
Father in heaven, we come before You in the name of Jesus Christ, Your Son, and we lift up this dear one and their precious daughter to You. Lord, forgive the pride and covetousness in asking to own and control all things, and create in them a new heart that desires Your will above all. Grant them true godly wisdom and contentment, for we know that godliness with contentment is great gain. 1 Timothy 6:6. Help them to seek Your kingdom first and to trust You to provide what is needed. Lord, we ask for Your healing touch upon every disease and affliction named, according to Your mercy and will, and give them peace that surpasses understanding. Guide their doctors and give them rest and health. Lord, provide for them and their daughter, lead them to a healthy biblical church, and if it is Your will, in Your timing bring a godly marriage that honors You. Above all, draw them to salvation and a deep relationship with Jesus Christ, in whose name we have access to You. Teach them to pray not my wishes be fulfilled, but Your will be done. We ask all this in the mighty name of Jesus Christ, amen.
