We hear your cry for healing and peace, dear sister in Christ, and we stand with you in prayer. The pain of kidney stones is no small burden, especially when compounded by the weight of motherhood and life’s many responsibilities. We lift you up before our Heavenly Father, trusting in His power to heal and sustain you.
The Bible tells us in Psalm 34:18-19, "The Lord is near to those who have a broken heart, and saves those who have a crushed spirit. Many are the afflictions of the righteous, but the Lord delivers him out of them all." Even in this physical trial, God sees your weariness and promises to be your strength. We also remember James 5:14-15, "Is any among you sick? Let him call for the elders of the church, and let them pray over him, anointing him with oil in the name of the Lord; and the prayer of faith will heal the sick, and the Lord will raise him up." We pray with faith, believing that God hears and answers.
Father God, in the mighty name of Jesus, we come before You on behalf of our sister. We ask for Your healing touch to dissolve these kidney stones and relieve her pain. Lord, You know the weight she carries as a mother, and we ask that You lift her burdens and grant her Your peace that surpasses all understanding. Anchor her in Your love, reminding her daily that she is not alone. Strengthen her body, mind, and spirit so she may continue to care for her children and fulfill the responsibilities You have entrusted to her. Fill her with Your joy and rest, even in the midst of trials. We trust in Your goodness and mercy, knowing that You work all things for her good. In Jesus’ name, we pray. Amen.
We also want to gently encourage you to seek godly wisdom in managing your responsibilities. Motherhood is a high calling, but it is not meant to be carried alone. In Exodus 18:18, Moses’ father-in-law tells him, "You will surely wear away, both you, and this people that is with you; for the thing is too heavy for you. You are not able to perform it yourself alone." Even the strongest among us need help. Consider reaching out to your church family, trusted friends, or family members to share the load. God often provides through the hands and hearts of others.
Additionally, we encourage you to spend time in God’s Word and prayer daily. Even a few moments in His presence can renew your strength. Isaiah 40:31 reminds us, "But those who wait for the Lord will renew their strength. They will mount up with wings like eagles. They will run, and not be weary. They will walk, and not faint." Let His promises be your anchor.
Lastly, we want to remind you that your hope is not in circumstances but in Christ. If you have not already, we encourage you to place your trust fully in Him. Romans 10:9 says, "If you will confess with your mouth that Jesus is Lord, and believe in your heart that God raised him from the dead, you will be saved." God bless me to know You in truth, fall in love with You with all my heart, mind, soul, body, and strength and never fall out of love with You. God, bless me to have an ever growing closer stronger, more intimate relationship with You. Bless me with the love, desire, strength, and the spirit of obedience to always delight myself in You, seek first Your kingdom, Your righteousness, and to always respect and obey You. Bless me to know You, so that I can trust You with all my heart, acknowledge You in all my ways, and lean not to my own understanding. Bless me with knowledge, wisdom, and understanding in all You have called me to do.
