Pray for inner strength and positive outcomes

RockL

Servant of All
Lord Jesus, grant me inner strength and wisdom today. Guide my actions so they lead to positive outcomes in my life. Amen.

We come before the throne of grace with your request, lifting up your need for inner strength and wisdom to our Lord and Savior Jesus Christ. It is only through His name that we have access to the Father, and it is by His power that we find the strength to face each day. As it is written in Philippians 4:13, "I can do all things through Christ, who strengthens me." This truth reminds us that our strength does not come from within ourselves, but from the One who created us and sustains us.

We also recognize the importance of seeking wisdom from above. James 1:5 tells us, "But if any of you lacks wisdom, let him ask of God, who gives to all liberally and without reproach; and it will be given to him." So we join you in asking the Lord to grant you the wisdom to discern His will and the strength to walk in it.

Heavenly Father, we come before You in the mighty name of Jesus, asking that You pour out Your strength upon this dear one. Fill them with Your Holy Spirit, that they may be empowered to face the challenges of this day with courage and faith. Grant them wisdom to make decisions that align with Your will, and guide their steps so that their actions may lead to outcomes that glorify You.

Lord, we know that Your plans for us are good, plans to prosper us and not to harm us, plans to give us hope and a future (Jeremiah 29:11). We pray that this truth would take root in their heart, dispelling any fear or doubt. Help them to trust in You with all their heart and lean not on their own understanding, but in all their ways acknowledge You, so that You may direct their paths (Proverbs 3:5-6).

We also pray for a spirit of positivity to surround them. Let them see the good in every situation, knowing that all things work together for good for those who love You and are called according to Your purpose (Romans 8:28). May they be a light to those around them, reflecting Your love and grace in all they do.

In the precious name of Jesus, we pray. Amen.

We’re grateful you reached out for prayer. The very act of asking for God’s strength and wisdom shows you’re already moving in the right direction, you know where your help comes from. Sometimes we think we need to muster inner strength on our own, but the beat of your request is really a partnership: you’re inviting God to guide your actions, and we’re joining you in that.

One small thing that might help today: instead of watching for “positive outcomes” in the end, try noticing the quiet ways God is already supplying what you need in the middle of things. The patience you manage when you’d rather react, the clarity that surfaces after you pause, those are real bits of His strength at work. You might even jot one down tonight, just to see how He’s actually showing up in your day.

We’re glad you’re not walking this alone. We’ll be praying too.

Lord Jesus, thank You for drawing this person close and for the wisdom they’re seeking. Fill their mind with steady truth and their heart with grounded calm, so they can act with clarity and trust You with whatever comes. Remind them of the strengths You’ve already placed in them, and let that buoy their courage. In Your name we pray, Amen.

Strength that you seek, and wisdom, these are not commodities to be fetched by a mere sincere wish. Apart from God, all strength is derived strength and is, consequently, measurable; yes, apart from God it is not strength at all and must come to an end. You must link your human weakness with the Divine strength by an act of faith, or you shall remain infinitely weak. Our very weakness is our strength because it drives us to the Almighty! When there remains no strength in you, nor any ability of any kind, then fling yourself upon the Divine strength and lay hold upon it.

But I must bid you examine what you mean by “positive outcomes.” The wisdom of words appears to have strength in it, but when it makes the Cross of Christ of no effect, it is sheer weakness. Holiness is as near akin to perfect wisdom as sin is to insanity. Those great principles infused in every man who takes God for his Guide include this: avoid everything that is evil. If your desired outcomes in any way run contrary to the historic biblical ethic, salvation through Jesus Christ alone, marriage as a lifelong covenant of one man and one woman, and purity reserved for that estate, then they are not positive but poisonous. Divine Grace is more than a match for the flesh, and Grace gains the victory, conforming our desires to His will, not His will to our passions.

The Lord keeps His people here that He may exhibit in them the power of Divine Grace. Strength is given, of that we have spoken, but it is the Lord Himself who declares, “I will strengthen them.” God Himself will impart strength to His chosen and, therefore, it will be fitly infused and wisely balanced. Do not say, “I feel much that is good within myself and I believe that I have strength enough and wisdom enough.” That is the very opposite way to true wisdom. You must bow with submission to the will of God; by that very fact you are furnished with unerring guidance.

The dead cannot gather strength. While you are yet without strength, believe that Christ died for the ungodly. Let that be the first outcome. Repentance is a sweet and sure evidence of a Divine conversion. He that is truly turned, turns his face to the wall to weep and pray. And though He may permit floods of trouble to teach you His faithfulness and His tenderness, at the right moment He will bring forth some new and suprising stroke of wisdom, drawing His servant out of deep waters, so that the praise and the glory will redound to His name alone. God is the glory of their strength. May He grant you a seed of life, for strength is a gift He bestows upon His chosen.

May God in Jesus' name answer your prayer request according to God's perfect love, wisdom, will, timing, grace, and mercy. God is so in love with you. Be Encouraged!

Psalm 37:4: Delight yourself in the Lord, And He shall give you the desires of your heart.
Matthew 6:33: But seek first the kingdom of God and His righteousness, and all these things shall be added to you.
