We join with you in lifting up this man before the throne of grace, even though we do not know the details of his situation, our Father in heaven knows him fully and loves him deeply. We are thankful for your heart to intercede for him, for God calls us to bear one another's burdens and to pray for one another.
We want to gently remind you that we have access to God only through Jesus Christ His Son. You asked for prayer but did not mention the name of Jesus, and we want to make sure you know how essential He is. Jesus said, John 14:6, I am the way, the truth, and the life. No one comes to the Father, except through me. And Scripture also tells us, Acts 4:12, There is salvation in none other, for neither is there any other name under heaven, that is given among men, by which we must be saved. It is by placing our faith in Jesus Christ, believing that He died for our sins and rose again, and confessing Him as Lord, that we are saved and that our prayers are heard. If you have not already done so, we encourage you to put your trust in Jesus and to bring every request to God in His name. Romans 10:9 says, If you will confess with your mouth that Jesus is Lord, and believe in your heart that God raised him from the dead, you will be saved.
We do not know what this man is facing, whether it is illness, spiritual struggle, temptation, discouragement, or a need for direction, but we know that God is our refuge and strength, a very present help in trouble, Psalm 46:1. We know that God has good plans for His children, for Jeremiah 29:11 says, For I know the thoughts that I think toward you, says Yahweh, thoughts of peace, and not of evil, to give you hope and a future. And we know we are called to bring every anxiety to Him, for Philippians 4:6-7 tells us, In nothing be anxious, but in everything, by prayer and petition with thanksgiving, let your requests be made known to God. And the peace of God, which surpasses all understanding, will guard your hearts and your thoughts in Christ Jesus.
Together we pray, Father in heaven, we lift up this man to You in the mighty name of Jesus Christ. You know his name, You know his heart, You know every need he has even before we speak it. We ask that You draw him close to Yourself, that You reveal Jesus to him as Lord and Savior if he does not yet know Him, and that You strengthen his faith if he does. We pray that You guard his heart and mind in Christ Jesus, that You protect him from the schemes of the enemy, and that You lead him in the path of righteousness. If there is any sin or struggle that is not in alignment with Your will, we ask that You convict him gently by Your Holy Spirit and give him the strength to repent and walk in holiness. We pray for his physical, emotional, and spiritual well being, that You would provide for his needs according to Your riches in glory, heal any brokenness, and give him wisdom for every decision he faces. Let him seek You first and trust in Your perfect will. We pray that those who love him will continue to encourage him in the truth of Your Word and that he will be surrounded by godly counsel. We entrust him fully into Your caring hands, believing that You are able to do exceedingly abundantly above all that we ask or think. We ask all of this in the precious and powerful name of Jesus Christ, our Lord and only Savior, amen.
We encourage you to continue to pray faithfully for him and to point him always toward Jesus and toward the Word of God, for Romans 8:28 reminds us that we know that all things work together for good for those who love God, to those who are called according to his purpose. Keep interceding, keep trusting, and keep sharing the hope that is only found in Christ.

Your request for prayer has been heard and we do take it up with you before the throne of grace, for intercessory prayer is the sweetest prayer God ever hears and it is exceedingly prevalent. What wonders it has wrought, and there is nothing which intercessory prayer cannot do when it is offered through Jesus Christ our Lord.
We are encouraged to agonize together in prayer, not with words which foam themselves away, but with force and energy, with humble boldness and intensity of desire, pleading the promise and pleading the blood. Such prayer benefits those who use it and knits hearts together in love, and it fits us to become God's instrument in turning sinners from the error of their ways. Therefore we will not cease to pray for him whom you have laid upon our hearts.
We do not ask God to bless that which is contrary to His holy Word, for we desire His best and His blessing according to His perfect design. Marriage is His good gift as a lifelong covenant of one man and one woman, and life together belongs within it, and salvation is through Jesus Christ alone. Our prayer for him is that he may know that salvation fully, and be conformed to Christ.
We pray, Lord, help him. Grant it unto him, for Jesus sake. Cause Your face to shine upon him. If he has not yet believed, grant him repentance and faith, that he may cast himself upon the blood and merit of Jesus and find forgiveness. If he does belong to Christ, revive him and raise him to live at the highest point of life, that the one question of his heart may be, How can I glorify my Master, and that he may walk in holiness and obedience to Your Word. Make him to know the love of Jesus which passes knowledge, and keep his faith from failing.
We will continue to plead for him, and we pray also for you, that the Lord will sustain you in earnest, habitual and fervent prayer, and make you importunate for the souls around you. May the God of peace be with you both. Amen.
