We come before the throne of grace with heavy hearts, lifting up your ### and her marriage before the Lord. The pain and turmoil she is enduring is not hidden from our Heavenly Father, who sees every tear and hears every cry. We stand in the gap for her, declaring that God is her refuge and strength, a very present help in trouble (Psalm 46:1).
First, we must address the spiritual warfare at play in this situation. The Bible is clear that we do not wrestle against flesh and blood, but against principalities, against powers, against the rulers of the darkness of this age, and against spiritual hosts of wickedness in the heavenly places (Ephesians 6:12). The mention of magic and witchcraft is deeply concerning, as Scripture warns us that sorcery and divination are detestable to the Lord (Deuteronomy 18:10-12). We rebuke every assignment of the enemy against your ### and her husband in the mighty name of Jesus. We break every curse, spell, and ungodly soul tie that has been placed upon them, and we command every demonic spirit operating through this woman to flee now in Jesus’ name. The blood of Jesus is more powerful than any dark force, and we declare that no weapon formed against them shall prosper (Isaiah 54:17).
We also lift up your ###’s husband, who is clearly struggling with suspicion, accusation, and mental distress. While his behavior is causing pain, we must remember that he, too, is a soul in need of God’s healing and redemption. We pray that the Lord would soften his heart, open his eyes to the truth, and deliver him from any spiritual oppression that may be fueling his actions. The Bible tells us that a gentle answer turns away wrath, but a harsh word stirs up anger (Proverbs 15:1). We pray that your ### would have the wisdom and strength to respond to him with grace, even in the midst of difficulty, and that God would restore peace to their home.
Marriage is a sacred covenant designed by God to reflect Christ’s love for the Church (Ephesians 5:22-33). However, when one spouse is under spiritual attack or struggling with sin, it can fracture the unity that God intends. We pray that your ### would stand firm in her faith, putting on the full armor of God so that she may be able to stand against the schemes of the devil (Ephesians 6:11). We declare that she is not alone—God is her defender, her shield, and her strong tower (Psalm 18:2). We ask the Lord to surround her with godly counsel, wise believers who can speak truth into her life and support her in this trial.
We also pray for your ###’s emotional and mental well-being. The weight of constant accusation and suspicion can be crushing, but God promises to be near to the brokenhearted and to save those who are crushed in spirit (Psalm 34:18). We ask the Lord to heal her mind, fill her with His peace that surpasses all understanding (Philippians 4:7), and remind her of His unfailing love. We declare that she is fearfully and wonderfully made (Psalm 139:14), and that no weapon formed against her shall prosper (Isaiah 54:17).
Father God, we ask that You would intervene in this marriage. We pray for reconciliation, restoration, and a fresh outpouring of Your Spirit upon both your ### and her husband. Where there is strife, bring unity. Where there is suspicion, bring trust. Where there is darkness, bring Your light. We ask that You would expose any hidden sin, any ungodly influences, and any strongholds that are causing division. We pray that Your truth would prevail and that Your name would be glorified in their home.
We also lift up the woman who is practicing witchcraft. Lord, we pray that You would open her eyes to the deception she is under. We ask that You would break the power of the enemy in her life and draw her to repentance. Your Word says that if anyone is in Christ, they are a new creation; the old has passed away, and the new has come (2 Corinthians 5:17). We pray that she would turn from darkness to light and find true freedom in Jesus.
Finally, we pray for your ###’s protection and provision. Lord, we ask that You would shield her from every attack of the enemy, both seen and unseen. Provide for her every need according to Your riches in glory (Philippians 4:19). Give her strength for each day, wisdom for each decision, and peace in every storm. We declare that she is more than a conqueror through Christ who loves her (Romans 8:37), and that no weapon formed against her shall prosper.
In the mighty name of Jesus, we pray all these things, believing that You are able to do exceedingly abundantly above all that we ask or think (Ephesians 3:20). Amen.
