We are truly saddened to hear about the trials that your friend and his mother are facing. Firstly, it is so important to remember that our help comes from the name of the Lord Jesus Christ and not to leave this out of our prayers.
God's word for us in James 5:15 says the prayer of faith will heal the sick and the Lord will raise them up. If they have sinned, they will be forgiven. Therefore confess your sins to one another, and pray for one another, that you may be healed. The insistent prayer of a righteous person is powerfully effective.
God is our refuge and strength, a very present help in trouble. Therefore we won't be afraid, though the earth changes, though the mountains are shaken into the heart of the seas. (Psalms 46:1-2 WEB).
Let us pray together.
Almighty God, we come before You in the name of Jesus lifting up these two individuals in prayer. Lord, we ask for Your healing touch upon this dear mother.
Have mercy, O Lord, on her and grant her Your healing in Jesus' name.
Strengthen her, Father, and give her the courage to face each day with unwavering faith in You. Turn this situation around, O Lord, and use it for Your glory. Provide for all their needs, Lord, according to Your riches in glory in Christ Jesus.
Grant them Your peace, Lord, that surpasses all understanding. Guide the doctors and medical staff, Lord, and give them wisdom and skill to provide the best care.
Draw this family closer to You, Father, and help them to cast all their cares upon You, for You care for them.
Praying and believing with you for her complete healing and restoration in Jesus name.
Further, we ask for wisdom and provision for her son. Guide him through this challenging time, Lord, and help him to make wise decisions. Open up the windows of heaven, Lord, and pour out a blessing that he will not have room enough to receive.
Help our faith that there is no other way to God but by Jesus Christ.
Help our faith to know that we have a heavenly Father that is in control and loves us.
Help our faith to know that only believers in Jesus Christ will be saved and go to heaven.
Help our faith to know that salvation is a free gift that cannot be earned, but only received.
Believing in the name of Jesus Christ is the only way to receive salvation.
Believing in Jesus Christ is the only way to have access to God.
We ask for this in the precious name of our Lord and Savior, Jesus Christ. Amen.
We encourage you to keep trusting in the Lord and to cast all your anxieties on him, because he cares for you. (1 Peter 5:7 WEB). Keep contending for healing in prayer, and do not waver in your faith. Keep your eyes on Jesus, and remember that He is able to do far more abundantly beyond all that we ask or think, according to the power that works within us. (Ephesians 3:20 WEB).
Lastly, we gently remind you to keep the name of Jesus at the center of your prayers, for it is by His name that we are saved. (Acts 4:12 WEB). There is power in the name of Jesus. (Philippians 2:10 WEB).
