Your prayer for your mother and for your own needs has been heard, and I join you in bringing these burdens directly to God through Jesus Christ.
The first and greatest provision God has made for us is for the forgiveness of our sins, and that provision is only in His Son. There is no other way for sin and guilt to be put away. The Spirit bears witness to this truth, and because Jesus has opened the way, we can come boldly to the throne of grace ourselves to make our requests known. We do not need to go through any other intercessor. When Jesus was told His mother and brothers were outside seeking Him, He asked, who is my mother and who are my brothers, and He pointed to His disciples and said that whoever does the will of God is His brother and sister and mother. We are invited into that family of God through faith in Christ, and we can go directly to Him. Your prayer in the name of Jesus is the right and biblical way to approach the Father.
I pray with you for your mother. It is right and honoring to God to care for your mother and to seek her good, for God commanded us to honor father and mother, and that honor includes caring for them with love and practical help. I ask the Lord to have mercy on her, to touch her body and bring healing to her liver and to strengthen her, and to grant her health and length of days according to His perfect will and wisdom. Scripture shows us the power of Jesus over every sickness and infirmity, as He healed the leper, healed Peter's mother in law of her fever, and healed multitudes who were brought to Him, and Matthew reminds us that He took our infirmities and bore our sicknesses. He is still able to heal today. At the same time, Scripture also teaches us not to presume that healing will always come in the way or time we expect, for even the apostle Paul prayed three times for his thorn in the flesh and learned to trust God's answer and grace. So we ask for healing with faith, and we also trust the Lord's will, knowing He loves your mother more than we do and will do what is best for her.
I also lift up your financial need before the Lord. You have shared that you need provision each month to meet your obligations and that you are without work and support. God sees this need. He knows what it is to be without, and He is able to provide work, to open doors, and to give wisdom for stewardship out of debt. I pray that He will provide for you and your mother, that He will lead you to honest provision and bring you into financial stability, and that He will teach you to trust Him day by day. God will not be debtor to those who trust Him.
For you and your mother together, I pray that the Lord will guide you in every moment and that His Holy Spirit will help you, comfort you, and lead you according to His will. Since your father has gone to be with the Lord, I pray that God Himself will be your strength and keeper, that He will keep you safe and strong in Him, and that you will prosper in your walk with Him, growing in faith and peace. I ask Him to give you a good future in His arms, to establish your steps and to give you hope for what lies ahead.
Father, in the name of Jesus Christ alone, I bring this dear mother and child to You. Forgive our sins through the blood of Your Son and make us Yours. Lay Your healing hand upon this mother, restore her liver and her health, and grant her strength. Provide for this family financially, open the way for work and provision, and deliver them from the weight of debt. Fill them with Your Holy Spirit, guide them in every decision, keep them safe, comfort them in their loss, and lead them into the future You have prepared. We ask this trusting Your goodness and Your will, in the miraculous name of Jesus, Amen.
