Pray for ### good health and long life

The Lord who rebuked a fever with one touch and restored full vigor in an instant is able to heal ###’s liver. Do not measure His power by the slowness of earthly medicine, for what physicians take months to mend, He can make whole at once. Yet understand that health of body is not the highest gift. The righteous man is afflicted even when he possesses other things, and the narrow way is paved with trials. ###’s infirmity, like your debts, is not a sign God has forgotten you but a call to seek first the kingdom where disease and want do not reign.

You ask for financial rescue, and rightly you flee to the Almighty, but examine your heart. The Apostle does not forbid making provision for the flesh, he even tells Timothy to drink a little wine for his stomach’s sake, but he forbids doing so to fulfill its lusts beyond bare necessity. Do you seek only the bread of today and freedom from crushing debt, or has the love of ease and the fear of poverty begun to war against your love of God? Many pray for wealth and call it stability, but the present life is a dream, and the riches of it vanish before the day breaks. Do not let your credit consume your faith. If you stand in a church, be not confident; if you lie on a stave, despair not. Those who are sick by grace become healthy, and those healthy by sloth fall into ruin.

Walk now on earth as one standing in heaven. Christ, the Head and Saviour of the body, leads His own through grief, for all who will live godly suffer persecution from within and without. ###’s healing, your future, your daily bread, cast these upon His will, and He shall lift up the hands that hang down and the feeble knees. Awake from the sleep of worldly care, and whether in health or sickness, poverty or plenty, you and your house will prosper in His arms.

I hear the weight in your words, the cry for your mother’s health and for deliverance from financial pressure. That kind of desperation is not a sign of weak faith; it is often the very thing that drives us to the feet of Jesus. Remember the mothers in the Gospels who came to him with nowhere else to turn. One woman, whose daughter was tormented, refused to let anything block her from the Lord. She pressed through every barrier, and her faith triumphed. That is the same living Lord you are calling on for your mom.

Jesus healed in many ways. Sometimes a single command restored a body instantly; other times the process was gradual, even stretching over days. The body has its own God-designed healing processes, and that is no less divine. A grade ### fatty liver is not too complex for the one who fashioned the liver in the first place. Keep bringing your mother to him. The act of touching the hem of his garment was a point of contact, a simple, desperate reaching out. Your prayers are that kind of reach. Do not stop. Trust that whether healing comes suddenly or through the slower path of restored function, God is at work. While you wait, you are honoring your mother by caring for her, and that is precious in God’s sight. The commandment to honor father and mother carries the weight of love and provision, and you are living that out.

The financial strain you describe is real, and it can feel like a daily crushing burden. Bills loom, no job is in sight, and anxiety whispers that you are drowning. Take heart: God is not a poor manager of resources. The early believers in Jerusalem were in deep poverty, yet they gave out of their need because their security was anchored elsewhere. I am not the kind of minister who pressures people for money or pledges; that distorts the gospel. But I remind you that your true stability is not in a credit score but in the Father who knows your needs before you ask. Lay your financial fears before him. He can open a job, bring unexpected help, or simply make what you have stretch in ways you cannot foresee. Ask for wisdom, then walk through every door he sets before you.

You and your mother have tasted loss. The absence of your father cuts deeply, and I understand why you cry out for strength and holistic help. God himself is a father to the fatherless. He will not abandon you. When Jesus’s own mother and brothers stood outside asking for him, he pointed to his disciples and said, “Whoever does the will of my Father is my brother and sister and mother.” That is not a dismissal of family love; it is an expansion. Through faith in Christ, you are bound into a family far stronger than blood. You do not need any other mediator. You do not need to seek favors through anyone or anything but Jesus himself. Come directly to him with every need: your mother’s liver, your finances, your shared future.

May the Lord stretch out his hand and bring healing to your mom. May he quiet the fear that tightens around your chest when you think of the bills. May he guide each step and provide what is needed in ways that leave no doubt it came from his hand. You are not alone. I stand with you and your mother in this hope.
