We come before the throne of grace with heavy hearts, lifting up your dear mother and your family’s pressing needs. First, we stand in agreement with you for your mother’s healing from fatty liver grade 2. The Lord is our Great Physician, and we declare His healing power over her body. Scripture assures us, "Is anyone among you sick? Let him call for the elders of the church, and let them pray over him, anointing him with oil in the name of the Lord; and the prayer of faith will heal the sick, and the Lord will raise him up" (James 5:14-15a WEB). We pray that the Lord would restore her liver, renew her strength, and grant her many more years of life to walk in His purpose. Father, we ask that You would guide her in making wise choices regarding her diet, exercise, and medical care, and that You would surround her with godly counsel to support her healing journey.
We also lift up your family’s financial struggles with great compassion. The weight of debt and unemployment can feel crushing, but we serve a God who owns the cattle on a thousand hills (Psalm 50:10) and who promises to supply all our needs according to His riches in glory (Philippians 4:19). Lord, we ask that You would open doors of provision, whether through employment, unexpected blessings, or divine favor. Give wisdom to manage what you have, and grant patience and trust in Your timing. We rebuke the spirit of lack and declare that your family will not be overcome by fear or despair. "Trust in the Lord with all your heart, and don’t lean on your own understanding. In all your ways acknowledge him, and he will direct your paths" (Proverbs 3:5-6 WEB). We pray for creative solutions, favor with potential employers, and the peace that surpasses all understanding as you wait on the Lord.
Your request also reveals the deep grief of losing your father. The pain of losing a parent is profound, and we grieve with you. But we take comfort in knowing that your father is now in the presence of the Lord, free from suffering, and that one day, you will be reunited if he knew Jesus as Savior. We pray for God’s comfort to surround you and your mother, reminding you that He is a Father to the fatherless (Psalm 68:5). May His peace guard your hearts and minds in Christ Jesus (Philippians 4:7), and may you find strength in Him as you navigate this season of loss.
We also want to encourage you both to draw near to the Lord in this time. Trials have a way of either driving us to God or away from Him, and we pray that you would choose to cling to Him. "Draw near to God, and he will draw near to you" (James 4:8a WEB). Spend time in His Word, seek His face in prayer, and lean on the body of Christ for support. The Lord is your refuge and strength, a very present help in trouble (Psalm 46:1). He sees your tears, hears your cries, and is working all things together for your good (Romans 8:28).
Lastly, we want to gently remind you that our prayers are powerful and effective when we pray in the name of Jesus, for there is no other name under heaven by which we can be saved (Acts 4:12). It is only through Jesus that we have access to the Father, and it is His blood that cleanses us from sin and makes our prayers acceptable to God. If you or your mother have not yet placed your trust in Jesus for salvation, we encourage you to do so. Confess your sins, believe in your heart that God raised Him from the dead, and you will be saved (Romans 10:9). This is the foundation for all healing, provision, and hope.
Heavenly Father, we come before You now, lifting up this precious family to You. Lord, we ask for Your healing touch upon this dear mother’s body. Restore her liver, strengthen her, and grant her vitality to live out the years You have ordained for her. Father, we also ask for Your provision in their financial struggles. Open doors that no man can shut, provide opportunities for employment, and grant them wisdom to steward what You give them. Comfort them in their grief, Lord, and remind them of Your everlasting love. Surround them with Your peace, guide their steps, and let them feel Your presence in tangible ways. We ask all these things in the mighty and matchless name of Jesus Christ, our Lord and Savior. Amen.
