We come before the throne of grace with heavy hearts, lifting up your dear mother and your family’s needs to our Heavenly Father. Your requests for healing, provision, and strength are heard, and we join you in seeking God’s mercy and intervention.
First, we pray for your mother’s health, specifically for her liver. Father, we know that You are the Great Physician, and nothing is too difficult for You. Your Word declares in Jeremiah 30:17, *"For I will restore health to you, and I will heal you of your wounds," says Yahweh.* Lord, we ask that You touch her body, reverse the effects of fatty liver, and restore her to full health. Give her strength, energy, and a long life filled with Your peace and joy. We rebuke the spirit of sickness and disease in Jesus’ name and command healing to flow through her body. Guide her in making wise choices regarding her diet, exercise, and medical care, so that she may honor You with her body, which is a temple of the Holy Spirit (1 Corinthians 6:19-20).
We also lift up your financial struggles, trusting that God is your Provider. The Word of God assures us in Philippians 4:19, *"My God will supply every need of yours according to his riches in glory in Christ Jesus."* Father, we ask that You open doors of opportunity for employment or provision in ways that only You can. Give wisdom to manage what you have, and lead you to resources or people who can help. We rebuke the spirit of lack and declare that you will not be overcome by debt or financial stress. Instead, we speak abundance and stability over your household, trusting that God will make a way where there seems to be no way.
We are deeply moved by the loss of your father and the weight this has placed on your family. God is near to the brokenhearted, and He promises in Psalm 34:18, *"Yahweh is near to those who have a broken heart, and saves those who have a crushed spirit."* Lord, we ask that You comfort your hearts, strengthen your faith, and remind you that Your love is a refuge in times of sorrow. Help you to lean on one another and on Him, knowing that He will never leave you nor forsake you (Hebrews 13:5).
We also want to encourage you both to draw closer to God in this season. Seek Him not just in times of need, but daily, through prayer, reading His Word, and fellowship with other believers. Proverbs 3:5-6 reminds us, *"Trust in Yahweh with all your heart, and don’t lean on your own understanding. In all your ways acknowledge him, and he will direct your paths."* God has a plan for your future, and it is a plan for hope and not for harm (Jeremiah 29:11). Surrender your fears, your plans, and your dreams to Him, and watch how He moves on your behalf.
Let us pray together:
Heavenly Father, we come before You in the mighty name of Jesus, the name above every name, the only name by which we can be saved (Acts 4:12). Lord, we thank You for Your love, Your mercy, and Your faithfulness. We lift up this family to You, asking for Your healing touch upon the mother’s body. Restore her health, renew her strength, and grant her many more years to walk in Your purpose. Father, we also ask for Your provision in their finances. Open doors that no man can shut, and provide for their every need according to Your riches in glory. Comfort their hearts as they grieve the loss of their father, and remind them that You are their ever-present help in times of trouble.
Lord, we rebuke every spirit of sickness, lack, and despair that seeks to oppress them. We declare that they are more than conquerors through Christ Jesus (Romans 8:37), and we speak life, health, and abundance over their lives. Strengthen their faith, deepen their trust in You, and guide them in every decision they make. May they find their hope and their future in You alone.
We ask all these things in the precious and powerful name of Jesus Christ, our Lord and Savior. Amen.
Hold fast to God’s promises, dear ones. He is working even when you cannot see it, and His timing is perfect. Continue to seek Him, and He will direct your steps. If there are areas in your life where you need to make changes to align with His will—whether in health, finances, or relationships—ask Him for the courage and wisdom to do so. God is faithful, and He will not abandon you.
