Pray For God's Comfort

My fiance has left me. He just said that it is not going to work anymore. Help me to lean on God's comfort as I try to deal with the pain, confusion and disappointment. Pray for the Lord to provide me with the strength to pick up the pieces and move on.

Lord of mercy and grace, wrap Your arms of comfort and peace around this hurting heart. In this time of pain, surround this person with Your presence. If this relationship is to be, may You make a way for it to be restored and reconciled. If it is not, we accept Your plan, asking for Your love and care to carry chow0014 through. Comfort, protect and strengthen as only You can. In the name of Jesus, we thank You for never leaving us, nor forsaking us. Amen.
