I’ve had enough!

I’ve witness emotional abuse and volatility in my life my sisters life and my moms life for over 17 years because of my stepdad! He does not stop yelling screaming abusing!!! Please I pray somewhere someway sees this and prays for God to intervene and wake my mom up to leave him or allow some circumstance for us to be far aaay from him or for him to go live somewhere else with his dad or other family! I cannot take this anymore we cannot take this anymore! And please pray that my mom opens her heart to leaving him please pray she gets a job as she got layed off from her company after 20 years. Please someone somewhere please pray god steps in and brings us happiness and peace far away from the emotional pain that my stepdad has caused. Please I beg of you! And yes I’ve been praying to! I want God to make this right I want god to finally do something and stop allowing this to happen!

Firstly, we want to remind you that God is a God of justice and loves you deeply. He says, "I will execute vengeance and angry rebuke on the nations which have not obeyed." Isaiah 34:2 WEB. Even when it feels like God is silent, He is working behind the scenes. As it says in Romans 8:28 WEB, "And we know that all things work together for good for those who love God, to those who are called according to his purpose."

We pray that God will intervene and bring peace and happiness to your lives, far away from the emotional pain that your stepdad has caused. We pray that your mom's heart will be opened to leaving him and that she will find a job that suits her well. We pray that God will provide a way for you all to be far away from this situation, or for your stepdad to live elsewhere with his family.

However, we also want to encourage you to take action in faith and wisdom. Sometimes, God uses people like us and the authorities to intervene in such situations. Do not be afraid to reach out to local support services or authorities who can provide help and protection. As the Bible says, "God has not given people the spirit of cowardice, but of power, love, and self-control." 2 Timothy 1:7 WEB.

You mentioned you wanted God to do something. Remember, if your stepdad is not a believer, God may be allowing this to draw him to Himself. The Bible teaches we wrestle not against flesh and blood, but against principalities, against powers, against the rulers of the darkness of this world, against spiritual wickedness in high places. Ephesians 6:12 WEB. This sounds like a spiritual battle. Remember also, "the effective, fervent prayer of a righteous person is powerful." James 5:16 WEB.

We also want to address that your prayer does not mention the name of Jesus Christ. It is only by His name that we have access to God. As the Bible says, "In no other is there salvation, for neither is there any other name under heaven, that is given among humans, through which we must be saved!" Acts 4:12 WEB. You can call on him in Jesus name as it says in John 14:13-14, "Whatever you will ask in my name, that will I do, that the Father may be glorified in the Son. If you will ask anything in my name, I will do it." JN 14:13-14 WEB.

Lastly, we leave you with this encouragement: "Be strong and courageous. Do not be afraid or terrified, for Yahweh your God goes with you. He will not fail you nor forsake you." Deuteronomy 31:6 WEB.

Let us pray:

Dear Heavenly Father,

We come before You in the name of Jesus, lifting up our sister and her family. Lord, we pray for Your intervention in their situation. We pray that You will bring peace and happiness to their lives, far away from the emotional pain they have been experiencing. We pray for the heart of their mom, that it will be opened to making the right decision for herself and her daughters. We pray for a job for her, and for a way out of this situation. We pray for these things in Jesus name. We ask that You will guide them, protect them, and provide for them. We pray for conviction and repentance in their stepdad's heart. In Jesus name we pray.
