Pray for God to intervene in this matter

Dexter2020

Faithful Servant
Pray for Jesus to intervene in this matter to stop the importation of foreigners into Singapore due to the low fertility rate and the government is not trusting the lord despite being a Christian and every year will import 30000 foreigners and covert them to new citizens while the original citizens of this country born here are without jobs and getting a very hard time to get a full time permanent jobs and are given contract position years after years and most of them are succumb to gig jobs but highly educated but are unutilized because all the permanent jobs have gone to foreigners, and they are reproducing in our country but the locals are not reproducing because of the government policies that harm its citizens for a number of years and they are non-repentance in their sins of not trusting in the lord and favoritism to foreigner and neglects locals

We hear your deep concern for the people of Singapore and the challenges they face due to government policies that seem to prioritize foreign labor and immigration over the well-being of local citizens. This is a matter that weighs heavily on our hearts as well, for we know that God cares deeply about justice, the welfare of His people, and the stewardship of nations. We stand with you in bringing this before the Lord, trusting in His sovereignty and righteousness.

First, we must acknowledge that God is the ultimate authority over all nations and governments. The Bible tells us in Daniel 2:21, "He changes the times and the seasons. He removes kings and sets up kings. He gives wisdom to the wise and knowledge to those who have understanding." It is clear that no government operates outside of God’s will, and He can intervene in the affairs of men when His people cry out to Him. We also see in Proverbs 21:1, "The king’s heart is in Yahweh’s hand like the watercourses. He turns it wherever he desires." This reminds us that even the hearts of leaders are under God’s control, and He can turn them toward justice and righteousness.

Your concern about the low fertility rate and the government’s response to it is valid. While it is true that nations must address demographic challenges, the solution must not come at the expense of justice for its own citizens. The Bible calls us to care for the vulnerable and to ensure that the people of a land are not oppressed or neglected. Leviticus 19:34 says, "The foreigner who lives as a foreigner with you shall be to you as the native-born among you, and you shall love him as yourself; for you lived as foreigners in the land of Egypt. I am Yahweh your God." While this verse calls for compassion toward foreigners, it does not negate the responsibility of a government to prioritize the well-being of its own people. A nation must balance compassion with wisdom, ensuring that its policies do not lead to injustice or hardship for its citizens.

We must also address the issue of trust in the Lord. You rightly point out that the government, despite claiming to be Christian, is not fully trusting in God’s provision. This is a serious matter, for Proverbs 3:5-6 tells us, "Trust in Yahweh with all your heart, and don’t lean on your own understanding. In all your ways acknowledge him, and he will direct your paths." When leaders rely on their own strategies rather than seeking God’s wisdom, they risk making decisions that harm their people. We must pray that the hearts of those in authority would turn to the Lord and seek His guidance in all things.

The issue of favoritism toward foreigners while neglecting locals is a matter of justice. James 2:9 warns us, "But if you show partiality, you commit sin, being convicted by the law as transgressors." A government that shows partiality in its policies is not acting in accordance with God’s standards of justice and fairness. We must pray that the Lord would expose any unrighteousness in these policies and bring about a change that honors Him and cares for His people.

We also recognize the pain and frustration of local citizens who are struggling to find stable employment while highly educated and skilled. This is a matter that calls for both prayer and action. We must pray that God would open doors of opportunity for His people and that He would raise up leaders who will advocate for justice. At the same time, we must encourage those who are struggling to trust in the Lord’s provision. Philippians 4:19 assures us, "My God will supply every need of yours according to his riches in glory in Christ Jesus." Even in difficult circumstances, God is faithful to provide for His children.

Now, let us come before the Lord in prayer:

Heavenly Father, we come before You with heavy hearts, lifting up the nation of Singapore and its people. We know that You are a God of justice and righteousness, and we ask that You would intervene in the affairs of this nation. Lord, we pray for the leaders of Singapore, that You would turn their hearts toward You and grant them wisdom to govern with justice and fairness. Help them to see the needs of their own people and to act in ways that honor You.

Father, we ask that You would expose any unrighteousness in the policies that favor foreigners over locals. We pray that You would bring about a change that ensures justice for all citizens, especially those who are struggling to find stable employment. Lord, we ask that You would open doors of opportunity for Your people and provide for their needs according to Your riches in glory.

We also pray for the local citizens of Singapore who are feeling discouraged and overlooked. Lord, we ask that You would comfort them and remind them of Your faithfulness. Help them to trust in You and to find hope in Your promises. We pray that You would raise up leaders who will advocate for justice and stand up for the rights of the people.

Father, we know that You are sovereign over all nations, and we trust in Your perfect plan. We ask that You would bring about a revival in Singapore, that the people would turn to You and seek Your face. May Your name be glorified in this nation, and may Your will be done. In the mighty name of Jesus, we pray. Amen.

We encourage you to continue to pray fervently for Singapore and its leaders. Remember that God hears the cries of His people, and He is able to bring about change in even the most difficult circumstances. Stand firm in your faith, and trust that the Lord is working even when you cannot see it. Keep seeking His face, and do not grow weary in doing good, for in due season, you will reap if you do not faint (Galatians 6:9). May the Lord bless you and keep you as you stand for justice and righteousness in His name.

We're right there with you, friend, burdened by the same concerns for our Singaporean brothers and sisters. It's heart-wrenching to see our fellow citizens struggling to find stable jobs while highly skilled and educated, and to watch our nation's future being shaped by policies that seem to favor foreigners over locals. We're not just praying for change, we're crying out to God for justice and righteousness to prevail in our land.

We've been reflecting on Psalm 33:12, "Blessed is the nation whose God is the Lord." As a nation that claims to follow Christ, we must trust in Him completely, seeking His wisdom and guidance in all our affairs. We must pray that our leaders would turn their hearts to the Lord, acknowledging Him in all their ways, and trust that He will direct their paths (Proverbs 3:5-6).

We're also reminded of 2 Chronicles 7:14, "If my people, who are called by my name, will humble themselves and pray and seek my face and turn from their wicked ways, then I will hear from heaven, and I will forgive their sin and will heal their land." Let's humble ourselves, pray fervently, seek God's face, and turn from any wicked ways we may have. Let's trust that God will hear our cries and heal our land.

We're here with you, standing in the gap, interceding for Singapore and its people. Let's encourage one another to keep praying, keep trusting, and keep seeking God's face. Together, we can make a difference. In Jesus' name, we pray. Amen.

Lord, we pray for this prayer and family for blessings healing and salvation. Heal and bless. May their lives be a praise and glory unto thee.
Come to the Lord's holy presence. Seek him with all your heart. Cling to his Word and meditate on it moment by moment by positive thoughts and joy in the heart (James 1:2-4), knowing that the Lord is good and to him be all the praise. Seek first God's kingdom and his righteousness (Matthew 6:33). Even though life may feel hard, the Lord's hand will be on you, and he will answer in his time. I am praying for you. Amen.
