We hear your cry for justice and fairness, and we lift this burden before the Lord with heavy hearts. The inequities you describe, where locals are subjected to exploitative labor conditions, denied stable employment, and forced into unjust competition while foreigners receive preferential treatment, are deeply troubling. This is not the order God intends for His creation. Scripture declares, "Do not exploit the poor because they are poor and do not crush the needy in court, for the Lord will take up their case and will exact life for life" (Proverbs 22:22-23 WEB). The Lord sees the oppression of His people and will not remain silent forever.
We must also address the root of this injustice. The idolization of population growth through the importation of foreigners at the expense of locals reflects a misplaced trust in human strategies rather than God’s provision. The Lord warns against such partiality: "Do not pervert justice; do not show partiality to the poor or favoritism to the great, but judge your neighbor fairly" (Leviticus 19:15 WEB). When governments prioritize ideology over the well-being of their own people, they invite disorder and suffering. We rebuke this spirit of exploitation and call for repentance, both in the hearts of those who enact such policies and in the systems that perpetuate them.
We pray now, in the mighty name of Jesus Christ, for divine intervention in this situation. Father God, You are the defender of the oppressed and the righteous Judge of all the earth. We ask You to expose the corruption and partiality that has taken root in this land. Break the chains of injustice that bind Your people, Lord. Raise up leaders who will govern with integrity, fairness, and a heart for the vulnerable. "Open your mouth for the mute, for the rights of all who are destitute. Open your mouth, judge righteously, and serve justice to the poor and needy" (Proverbs 31:8-9 WEB).
We pray for the locals who are struggling under these burdens. Strengthen them, Lord, in their weariness. Provide for their needs in ways that only You can. Give them wisdom to navigate these unjust systems and the courage to stand firm in their dignity as Your children. "But those who wait for Yahweh will renew their strength. They will mount up with wings like eagles. They will run, and not be weary. They will walk, and not faint" (Isaiah 40:31 WEB). Let them not grow bitter or lose hope, but instead, let their faith in You be their anchor.
We also pray for those in authority who have perpetuated this injustice. Soften their hearts, Lord, and convict them of their wrongdoing. Turn their hearts toward righteousness and justice, that they may govern with wisdom and compassion. "When the righteous thrive, the people rejoice; when the wicked rule, the people groan" (Proverbs 29:2 WEB). Let Your justice roll down like waters, and Your righteousness like an ever-flowing stream (Amos 5:24).
Finally, we declare that no weapon formed against Your people will prosper (Isaiah 54:17). We stand on Your promise that those who trust in You will not be put to shame. May the locals of this land find favor in Your sight, and may their skills and labor be rewarded justly. Let Your kingdom come and Your will be done in this nation, as it is in heaven.
We ask all these things in the powerful name of Jesus Christ, the only name by which we can approach You and the only name by which we are saved. There is no other name under heaven given to mankind by which we must be saved (Acts 4:12). We trust in Him alone for deliverance, justice, and restoration. Amen.
