I am ###, almost ###, woman, and I have never even had a boyfriend. But more than anything I desire a husband and a fruitful marriage with many children. I always wonder what is wrong with me and why no one has pursued me. I am terrified of being alone forever. I desperately want a godly man to grow closer to Christ with, to form a union with, to raise a family with. I am becoming more hopeless by the day and am struggling to trust in God's timing and plan for my life. Please pray for me to trust in His timing, for Him to bring me a godly man.

We hear the deep longing in your heart, dear sister, and we want you to know that your desire for a godly marriage and family is beautiful and honorable before the Lord. Scripture tells us that it is not good for man—or woman—to be alone (Genesis 2:18), and we understand the ache of waiting, the fear of being overlooked, and the struggle to trust when the days stretch long without answers. But let us remind you of this truth: your worth is not defined by your relationship status, nor is it measured by the attention or pursuit of man. You are fearfully and wonderfully made by God (Psalm 139:14), and He has a perfect plan for your life—one that unfolds in His timing, not ours.

The enemy would love for you to believe the lie that something is "wrong" with you, that you are unlovable, or that God has forgotten you. But we rebuke that lie in the name of Jesus! Our Father sees you, knows you, and loves you deeply. He is the one who places the lonely in families (Psalm 68:6), and if marriage is His will for you, He will bring it to pass in a way that exceeds your expectations. Your job is not to panic or despair but to seek Him first, trusting that He will add all these things to you as you prioritize His kingdom (Matthew 6:33). A godly marriage is not the ultimate prize—Christ is. When you are fully satisfied in Him, you will no longer feel the desperate need to fill that void with a human relationship. He must be your first love, your greatest joy, and your deepest security.

That said, we also recognize that your desire for marriage is godly and good. The Bible celebrates marriage as a sacred covenant between a man and a woman, a reflection of Christ’s love for His church (Ephesians 5:22-33). So we will pray boldly for God to prepare you and to bring a godly man into your life—one who loves the Lord with all his heart, who will lead you spiritually, and who will cherish you as Christ cherishes the church. But we must also encourage you to examine your heart: Are you actively cultivating the qualities of a godly wife (Proverbs 31:10-31, Titus 2:3-5)? Are you involved in a community of believers where you can serve, grow, and be seen? Are you praying not just for a husband, but for the strength to wait well and to glorify God in your singleness?

Singleness is not a curse—it is a gift, a season where you can devote yourself wholly to the Lord without distraction (1 Corinthians 7:32-35). Use this time to deepen your walk with Him, to serve His kingdom, and to prepare yourself for the responsibilities of marriage and motherhood. If you struggle with loneliness, ask God to fill you with His presence and to surround you with godly friendships that encourage and sharpen you (Ecclesiastes 4:9-12). And if fear or hopelessness creep in, take those thoughts captive and replace them with Scripture. Meditate on verses like Isaiah 49:15-16: *"Can a woman forget her nursing child, that she should not have compassion on the son of her womb? Yes, these may forget, yet I will not forget you! Behold, I have engraved you on the palms of my hands."* You are not forgotten.

Now, let us pray for you:

Heavenly Father, we lift our sister before Your throne of grace, asking that You would meet her in the depth of her longing. Lord, she desires a godly marriage, and we ask that if it is Your will, You would bring a man after Your own heart into her life—a man who loves You above all else, who will lead her spiritually, and who will walk in faithfulness and integrity. Prepare them both, Lord, for this union, and let it be a testimony of Your goodness and grace.

But even more, Father, we pray that You would satisfy her heart with Your love. Heal the places where she feels lacking or unworthy, and remind her that her identity is found in Christ alone. Forgive her for the moments of doubt and fear, and fill her with Your peace that surpasses all understanding. Help her to trust in Your timing, knowing that You are working all things together for her good (Romans 8:28).

Lord, if there are areas in her life that need surrender or refinement, reveal them to her. Give her the strength to walk in purity, to guard her heart, and to wait on You with patience and joy. Surround her with godly community that will encourage her and hold her accountable. And if there are lies she has believed about herself or her future, we ask that You would replace them with Your truth.

We rebuke the spirit of fear and hopelessness in Jesus’ name. Let faith arise in her heart, and let her rest in the assurance that You are faithful to complete the good work You have begun in her (Philippians 1:6). Whether You call her to marriage or to a life of singleness devoted to You, may she find her fulfillment in You alone.

We ask all this in the mighty name of Jesus, our Savior and Redeemer. Amen.

Finally, sister, we encourage you to keep seeking the Lord with all your heart. He is your portion (Lamentations 3:24), and He will never leave you nor forsake you (Deuteronomy 31:6). Wait on Him, trust in Him, and let your life be a light that draws a godly man who is also waiting on the Lord. Be patient, be prayerful, and be open to the ways God may be preparing you during this season. He is faithful!

I wanted to commit suicide once, I even came up with a plan. Right before I headed out the door I posted a prayer on here and hoping there might be help from God one last time I opened the Bible and only read take no thought for your life. I read that before at least 100 times but never really could understand how. This time I took it to heart, all right God I will end my life by not thinking about it. I take no thought, I take no thought, I take no thought over and over and over again I take no thought was my only thought that day. All of a sudden I noticed something, Jesus showed up, all my pains were gone, no neck ache, no back pain, no leg pain from many many accidents I had over the years and no pain in my heart as my wife had left me. I started singing praises and thanks to Jesus and my life has never been the same. It is our obedience to God from His Holy Instructions that makes a difference to His Power of His Promises in our lives.

Be a doer of Jesus friend, it really makes a difference! Thank You Lord Jesus!

Search the Bible for Jesus' Promises friend, do them and claim them in Jesus! Amen! Thank You Lord Jesus!

Powerful healing promise hidden in Proverbs 3:7-8, I am not wise in my own eyes, I fear You Lord, I depart from evil, especially my own evil thoughts and my flesh is healed and my body is refreshed in Jesus.

Praying for others especially in your situation will help you tremendously in yours friend.

Take no thought for your life dear friend and Jesus will take thought for you. Sing praises and thanks to Jesus and He will overflow His Holy Spirit in you and so much more. He will fight for you and give you the desires of your heart.

Let Us Pray: God I ask in Jesus' name, bless me to grow closer to You. I long for a more intimate relationship with You. God I take You at Your Word, if I will draw closer to You, You will draw closer to me (James 4:8). Show me how to draw closer to You. Bless me daily to cast off and forsake my thoughts and ways for my life, and exchange them for Your thoughts and ways for my life. Let me think Your thoughts and dream Your dreams for my life. God bless me to live and walk in Your love, mercy and forgiveness (Isaiah 55:7). I confess, I will take no thought for my life. I will trust You Father God to take thought for me and take care of me (Mathew 6:25-34). I will not be wise in my own eyes, I will fear You Lord and depart from evil and my flesh will be healed and my body will be refreshed (Proverbs 3:7-8) daily. Thank You Jesus for Your Promises! Lord make me the Child of God You need me to be in Christ for all those around me and for the world to see (Psalms 128:3). Not by my might, nor by my power, but by Your Spirt Christ Jesus (Zechariah 4:6) this shall happen. And it will happen, it is happening now in Your timing, Power, Strength, Might, and Spirit, Christ Jesus. God all that I have asked of you in this prayer please do the same for all those I love, care about, and every faithful prayer warrior on this site. Thank You, Thank You, Thank You Lord Jesus, my Savior and Lord for answering this prayer with a Yes and Amen.

Come to the Lord's holy presence. Seek him with all your heart.
