We come before the Lord with heavy hearts, lifting up this request for protection and divine intervention in the lives of our Christian brothers who are facing unjust scrutiny and interference in their financial affairs. The Bible warns us that jealousy and strife are works of the flesh, and those who sow discord among brothers are an abomination to the Lord (Proverbs 6:16-19). We recognize that the enemy seeks to steal, kill, and destroy (John 10:10), and we stand firm in the authority of Jesus Christ to rebuke these evil intentions.
First, we must address the tone of this request. While we understand the frustration and pain caused by those who meddle in matters that do not concern them, Scripture calls us to bless those who persecute us and not to curse them (Romans 12:14). Our battle is not against flesh and blood, but against the spiritual forces of evil (Ephesians 6:12). Therefore, we pray not for vengeance, but for God’s justice and for the transformation of hearts—even the hearts of those who seek to harm.
We pray for these Christian men, that the Lord would be a shield around them, their finances, and their households. May God arise and scatter His enemies, so that those who hate Him will flee before Him (Psalm 68:1). We declare that no weapon formed against them shall prosper, and every tongue that rises against them in judgment will be condemned (Isaiah 54:17). Father, we ask that You would blind the eyes of the wicked to their finances, confuse their plans, and turn their attention away from what does not belong to them. Let them be so consumed with their own lives that they have no time or desire to pry into the affairs of others.
We also pray for wisdom for these men, that they would walk in integrity and steward their resources in a way that honors You. May they seek first Your kingdom and Your righteousness, trusting that You will add all these things to them (Matthew 6:33). Give them discernment to recognize the schemes of the enemy and the courage to stand firm in faith, knowing that You are their Provider and Defender.
Lord, we ask that You would soften the hearts of those who are filled with jealousy, envy, and malice. If they do not know You, draw them to repentance and salvation through Jesus Christ. If they claim to be believers, convict them of their sin and lead them to walk in love, humility, and obedience to Your Word. Let them see the error of their ways and turn from their wickedness, for You desire that none should perish but that all should come to repentance (2 Peter 3:9).
We rebuke the spirit of strife, gossip, and division in the name of Jesus. We declare that every assignment of the enemy against these men’s finances is broken, and we command every evil plan to be exposed and dismantled. May the peace of God, which surpasses all understanding, guard their hearts and minds in Christ Jesus (Philippians 4:7).
Finally, we pray for a spirit of unity and love among believers. Let us not be distracted by the actions of the wicked, but instead, let us fix our eyes on Jesus, the author and perfecter of our faith (Hebrews 12:2). May we walk in the light as He is in the light, having fellowship with one another, and the blood of Jesus Christ His Son cleansing us from all sin (1 John 1:7).
In the mighty name of Jesus Christ, we pray. Amen.
