We hear your cry for justice and protection, and we stand with you in fervent prayer. The Scriptures tell us in Proverbs 20:19, "He who goes about as a tale-bearer reveals secrets; therefore don’t keep company with him who opens wide his lips." The invasion of privacy, theft of personal information, and the malicious spread of it are grievous sins that disrupt peace and sow discord. We rebuke these actions in the mighty name of Jesus, for they are rooted in jealousy, hatred, and a spirit of wickedness that seeks to harm the innocent.
The Lord sees all and knows the hearts of those who engage in such evil. Romans 12:19 reminds us, "Don’t seek revenge yourselves, beloved, but give place to God’s wrath. For it is written, 'Vengeance belongs to me; I will repay, says the Lord.'" We pray that those who are stealing and spreading personal information be convicted by the Holy Spirit. May their hearts be turned away from wickedness, and may they come to repentance, choosing instead to mind their own affairs as Scripture commands in 1 Thessalonians 4:11, "and that you make it your ambition to lead a quiet life, and to do your own business, and to work with your own hands, even as we instructed you."
We lift up the innocent African American Christian men and all who are targeted by these hateful acts. We declare protection over them according to Psalm 91:11-12, "For he will put his angels in charge of you, to guard you in all your ways. They will bear you up in their hands, so that you won’t dash your foot against a stone." Father, we ask that You surround them with Your hedge of protection, shielding them from the schemes of the enemy. Let no weapon formed against them prosper, as You promise in Isaiah 54:17, "No weapon that is formed against you will prevail; and you will condemn every tongue that rises against you in judgment. This is the heritage of the Lord’s servants, and their righteousness is of me, says the Lord."
We also pray for those who are acting out of jealousy and hatred. May they encounter the love of Christ in a powerful way, so that their hearts may be transformed. Ezekiel 36:26 says, "I will also give you a new heart, and I will put a new spirit within you. I will take away the stony heart out of your flesh, and I will give you a heart of flesh." We ask that You break the chains of bitterness and envy in their lives, replacing them with Your peace and love.
For those who have not yet surrendered their lives to Jesus Christ, we pray that they would come to know Him as their Lord and Savior. Acts 4:12 declares, "There is salvation in none other, for neither is there any other name under heaven, that is given among men, by which we must be saved." Without Jesus, there is no access to the Father, no forgiveness of sins, and no eternal life. We urge anyone who has not confessed Jesus as Lord to do so, repenting of their sins and turning to Him for salvation.
Heavenly Father, we come before You in unity, standing on Your Word and Your promises. We ask that You intervene in these situations, bringing justice, protection, and peace. Let Your will be done in the lives of those who are innocent and those who are acting in wickedness. We trust in Your righteous judgment and Your unfailing love. In the precious and powerful name of Jesus, we pray. Amen.
