Pray for complete healing for our son ### from a traumatic brain injury

Disciple of Prayer
Please join us in praying for our son, ###, as he continues his recovery from a traumatic brain injury. We ask God to perform a miracle in his life—that he would soon be able to talk, eat, walk, and laugh again. Please pray that ### feels God's loving presence every day, knowing that He is with him, strengthening and comforting him through this journey. We also ask for God's peace, hope, and comfort to surround our entire family as we trust Him for complete healing. Thank you for lifting ### up in prayer.

We lift our hearts and voices together in fervent prayer for your precious son, trusting in the mighty power of our Lord to bring complete healing and restoration. The journey you are walking is not easy, and we stand with you in faith, believing that God hears your cries and sees your tears. We declare that by the stripes of Jesus, your son is healed, for Isaiah 53:5 tells us, "But he was pierced for our transgressions. He was crushed for our iniquities. The punishment that brought our peace was on him; and by his wounds we are healed."

Heavenly Father, we come before Your throne of grace with boldness, asking for a miraculous touch upon our dear brother. We pray that You would restore his ability to speak, to eat, to walk, and to laugh again. Let every part of his brain that has been affected by this injury be renewed and made whole by Your divine power. We know that nothing is too hard for You, Lord, for You are the God who raises the dead and calls those things that are not as though they were. We ask that You would strengthen his body, mind, and spirit, filling him with Your peace that surpasses all understanding.

We also pray for your family, dear ones, that you would be enveloped in God’s comfort and hope. This trial is heavy, but we know that the Lord is close to the brokenhearted and saves those who are crushed in spirit (Psalm 34:18). May you feel His presence in tangible ways each day, reminding you that you are not alone. We ask that God would give you strength for each moment, wisdom for each decision, and a deep assurance that He is working all things together for good (Romans 8:28).

Father, we rebuke the spirit of fear and despair that may try to creep into your hearts. We declare that perfect love casts out fear (1 John 4:18), and we choose to trust in Your unfailing love. We pray that your son would experience Your loving presence in powerful ways, knowing that You are with him every step of this journey. Let him feel Your arms of comfort around him, and let Your peace guard his heart and mind in Christ Jesus (Philippians 4:7).

We also want to encourage you to hold fast to God’s promises. Jeremiah 30:17 says, "For I will restore health to you, and I will heal you of your wounds, says Yahweh." This is not just a hope; it is a promise from the One who cannot lie. Continue to stand on His Word, declaring healing and restoration over your son’s life. Surround yourselves with believers who will uphold you in prayer and speak life into this situation. Remember, where two or three are gathered in His name, He is there in the midst of them (Matthew 18:20).

Lord, we ask that You would guide the hands of the doctors, nurses, and therapists caring for him. Give them wisdom and insight as they work to facilitate his recovery. We pray that You would open doors for breakthroughs in his treatment and that every obstacle to his healing would be removed. Let Your healing power flow through every therapy session, every medical procedure, and every moment of rest.

We also pray for your family’s faith to be strengthened through this trial. James 1:2-4 tells us to count it all joy when we fall into various trials, knowing that the testing of our faith produces perseverance. May this season draw you closer to God and to one another, deepening your trust in Him. We declare that this is not the end of your son’s story, it is a testimony in the making, and God will be glorified through his healing.

In the mighty name of Jesus, we command every spirit of infirmity to leave his body. We declare that he is healed, whole, and restored. We thank You, Father, for hearing our prayers and for moving mightily on his behalf. We trust in Your perfect timing and Your perfect will. May Your name be praised in this situation, now and forevermore. Amen.

We are grateful you have invited us to stand with you in prayer for ### and your whole family. We are asking the Lord to bring steady healing to his body, that one day soon he will speak, eat, walk, and laugh again. The road of traumatic brain injury recovery is often long and uneven, so we are also praying that each of you finds fresh hope every morning, even on the hard days.

As you wait, please don’t hesitate to let your church community or trusted friends help in practical ways: a meal brought over, someone sitting with ### so you can rest briefly, or simply praying together in person. Often God’s nearness is felt most through the hands and voices of others, and you do not have to carry this alone.

We are asking Jesus to fill ### with a deep-down awareness that He is with him, strengthening, comforting, and never letting go. And for you, we are praying that God’s peace will hold you steady when your own energy runs low.

Prayer: Lord Jesus, we lift ### before You now. Touch his brain and body, restoring what has been injured. Give him the ability to talk, eat, walk, and laugh again, and let him sense Your loving presence every day. Surround his family with Your peace that goes beyond understanding, and fill their hearts with hope. We trust You for complete healing, and we ask all of this in Your name. Amen.

The case of your beloved son comes before the Lord of love, who is touched with the feeling of our infirmities. It is the very sight of misery that moves His heart, even when no formal request is laid at His feet. He saw a woman bent double for eighteen years and, without being asked, loosed her from her bond. His power to heal is not bound by any condition in the sufferer; it lies wholly in Himself. That same compassionate Christ beholds your , and no brain injury is too tangled for His hand to unravel, no silence too deep for His voice to break.

Consider the miracle of the loaves, how Christ is not only grand in emergencies but displays His power spontaneously, without our pressing or even prompting. He can restore speech, movement, and laughter as swiftly as light darts from the sun. The very leaves of the Tree of Life are for healing, and the least thing about Jesus overflows with restoring virtue. The Sun of Righteousness carries healing in His wings, and when He shines, pardon and wholeness walk hand in hand. Lay hold of this: Calvary is the infallible source of the healing balm. The same Lord who said, “Son, be of good cheer; thy sins be forgiven thee,” sent the man home carrying his bed. Forgiveness and healing are placed together in happy conjunction.

Take comfort now. The Lord who began a good work will perform it. If He has done for you all that you need for your soul, ask Him to stretch out that same hand over your household and your suffering child. The will of Christ works the miracle, that silent, omnipotent outgoing of divine energy. No physician can rekindle the laughter or restore the limbs and voice as He can. His grace can infuse health into the spirit and body alike, until you see the freshness of new life beaming in your son’s face, fairer than a new-born babe’s. Trust Him for that complete healing, and as you wait, may His peace garrison your hearts and His hope anchor your souls. He has but to speak the word, and the mighty miracle of mercy is done more swiftly than I can tell of it.

May God in Jesus' name answer your prayer request according to God's perfect love, wisdom, will, timing, grace, and mercy. God is so in love with you. Be Encouraged!

Psalm 37:4: Delight yourself in the Lord, And He shall give you the desires of your heart.

Heal Me Lord Jesus Spirit, Soul, And Body

The Lord who once fed the multitudes with a few loaves, beyond all expectation of the disciples, is not at a loss for power to restore your son's faculties. Let no seeming impossibility cast you down; the same hand that multiplied bread can quicken tongue and limb and memory in an instant.

Yet understand that the truest injury is never what befalls the body, but what corrupts the soul. If your son endures this trial with patience, and your household clings to God with a pure conscience, then his affliction becomes no loss but a hidden crown. What men call ruin, God often makes the raw material of glory. Therefore while you boldly ask for the miracle, labor still more that, whatever the outcome, your son's spirit and your own may be found unspotted, resting in His will. That is the comfort that surpasses all comfort, even a cause for holy glorying in the midst of peril.

Do not let sorrow lull you into a drowsiness of despair; shake it off, rise to prayer, and you shall see the salvation of God, whether by swift healing or by the slower, greater work of conforming you all to His likeness. His presence is with the sufferer every hour, and the furnace you now enter, if borne in faith, will refine you as gold.
