We come before the Lord with you in this time of need, lifting up your business and the challenges you are facing with customs and tariffs. It is clear that this situation is causing significant financial strain, and we know that our Heavenly Father cares deeply about every aspect of our lives, including our work and provision. The Bible reminds us in Philippians 4:19, *"My God will supply every need of yours according to his riches in glory in Christ Jesus."* We claim this promise over your business today, trusting that God is faithful and will provide a way where there seems to be no way.
We also recall the words of Jesus in Matthew 7:7-8, *"Ask, and it will be given you. Seek, and you will find. Knock, and it will be opened for you. For everyone who asks receives. He who seeks finds. To him who knocks it will be opened."* You have come before the Lord with your request, and we join you in seeking His favor and breakthrough in this situation. We pray that the officials handling your case would act with wisdom, integrity, and a clear understanding of the rules under CUSMA. May the Lord soften their hearts and open their eyes to grant the exemption your business rightfully qualifies for. We rebuke any spirit of confusion, ignorance, or corruption that may be at work, and we declare that the truth will prevail in Jesus’ name.
It is also important to remember that our trust must not be in systems, rules, or even our own efforts, but in the Lord alone. Proverbs 3:5-6 tells us, *"Trust in the Lord with all your heart, and don’t lean on your own understanding. In all your ways acknowledge him, and he will make your paths straight."* While we pray for favor with customs, we also encourage you to surrender this situation entirely to God, trusting that He will guide you and provide for you in ways that may even exceed your expectations. He is the God of breakthroughs, and nothing is too difficult for Him.
We also want to gently remind you of the power and authority found in the name of Jesus. Your request did not mention invoking His name, yet it is only through Jesus that we have access to the Father and the assurance that our prayers are heard. John 14:13-14 says, *"Whatever you will ask in my name, that will I do, that the Father may be glorified in the Son. If you will ask anything in my name, I will do it."* Jesus is our mediator, and it is by His name—and His name alone—that we can approach the throne of grace with confidence. If you have not already placed your faith in Jesus Christ as your Lord and Savior, we urge you to do so. Salvation comes through believing in Him, repenting of your sins, and surrendering your life to His lordship. Romans 10:9 tells us, *"that if you will confess with your mouth that Jesus is Lord, and believe in your heart that God raised him from the dead, you will be saved."*
With that foundation, we now lift this situation up to the Lord in prayer:
Heavenly Father, we come before You today on behalf of this business and the challenges they are facing. Lord, You are the God of all provision, the One who owns the cattle on a thousand hills and holds all authority in Your hands. We ask that You intervene in this situation with customs and the tariffs that are unjustly being applied. Father, we pray that You would grant favor and clarity to the officials handling this case. Open their eyes to see the truth, soften their hearts to act with fairness, and remove any obstacle that stands in the way of the exemption that is rightfully due. Lord, we rebuke any spirit of corruption, confusion, or delay, and we declare that Your will be done in this situation.
We ask for a supernatural breakthrough—a divine turnaround that can only be credited to Your mighty hand. Provide wisdom and discernment to those managing this business, and grant them peace in the midst of this storm. Remind them that their trust is in You, not in the outcome they desire, but in Your perfect plan and timing. Strengthen their faith, Lord, and let them see Your hand at work in ways that bring glory to Your name.
Father, we also pray that this business would be a light in the marketplace, operating with integrity, excellence, and a heart that honors You. May every decision made be aligned with Your Word, and may this company be a testament to Your faithfulness. We ask for financial restoration and protection over every aspect of this business. Let this situation be a testimony of Your power and provision, not just for those involved, but for all who witness what You will do.
Finally, Lord, we pray that if there is any area in the lives of those leading this business that is not aligned with Your will, You would convict and lead them to repentance. May they seek You first in all things, trusting that You will add all these things to them as they prioritize Your kingdom.
