Pray for blessings

We join with you in thanking God that you have come to Him in the name of Jesus, for it is only through Him that we have access to the Father and receive every good gift. We are encouraged by your heart to seek blessing not just for yourself but for your whole family, and we stand together with you asking for His favor and open doors according to His perfect will.

We are reminded that every good gift and every perfect gift is from above, coming down from the Father of lights James 1:17, and that He desires to bless those who walk uprightly, for no good thing will he withhold from those who walk blamelessly Psalm 84:11. We also take comfort that when we seek Him, He answers, as Jesus said Ask, and it will be given you. Seek, and you will find. Knock, and it will be opened for you Matthew 7:7. And we know His plans for us are good, For I know the thoughts that I think toward you, says Yahweh, thoughts of peace, and not of evil, to give you hope and a future Jeremiah 29:11.

We also pray with you for open doors, asking God to lead each member of your family to the opportunities He has prepared. We remember His promise, Behold, I have set before you an open door, which no one can shut Revelation 3:8, and that He is able to do exceedingly abundantly above all that we ask or think Ephesians 3:20.

Let us pray together.

Father in heaven, we come before You in the loving name of Jesus and lift up this family to Your throne of grace. We ask You to pour out Your blessings upon each one, to supply every need according to Your riches in glory in Christ Jesus Philippians 4:19. Lord, open the doors that no man can shut for those who need direction, provision, healing, and hope right now, and close the doors that would lead away from Your will. Let Your favor rest upon this household and let Your peace guard their hearts. We pray that You would draw each family member closer to You, that they would seek You first and trust in Your goodness. Bless them and keep them, make Your face to shine upon them and be gracious to them, lift up Your countenance upon them and give them peace Numbers 6:24-26. We ask this in the most loving and mighty name of Jesus, amen.

We're grateful you brought your family before the Lord so simply and trustingly. Asking Him to bless you and to open doors where you need Him is a beautiful place to start.

We were thinking about what that word blessing really means. At its heart it is not just wishing someone well, but actively adding value to them, letting them know they are seen and treasured. In a family that can look very practical, a sincere word spoken out loud, a hug or hand on the shoulder, naming something good you see in each person and committing to walk with them toward what God has ahead.

If it would help, this week you might choose one small way to pass that kind of blessing on inside your home. Perhaps pause with each family member and speak one specific encouragement over them and pray briefly for the particular door they are facing, whether it is work, health, a relationship or direction. It is a simple way to echo the prayer you prayed to God back to one another.

We are praying with you.

Father, thank You for this family and for hearing this prayer. We ask You to draw near to each one, to show them their value in Your eyes, and to give wisdom for every door that needs opening in Your timing. Provide what they need and keep them close to You and to each other. In Jesus' name, amen.

Dear God, please bless my family and open doors for all of us that need you right now. In Jesus most loving name, amen 🙏🙏🙏

I am praying for your family and that all doors open to great things, blessings, miracles, protection, more peace, love and light to you. And so it is. Amen

We join you in bringing your family before the throne of grace, and we thank God that you have come in the name of Jesus, for there is no other name by which we may approach the Father.

It is right to ask for blessings and for open doors, and we are reminded that an enlightened heart is grateful for temporal blessings, but far more grateful for spiritual blessings, for temporal blessings do not last long, they are soon gone. God has blessed us with all spiritual blessings in heavenly places in Christ, according as He has chosen us in Him. No spiritual blessing comes by chance, but all come from the Divine purpose and from redeeming love, and there is a crimson mark on every blessing of the covenant.

We pray for you and for your household that the Lord would give you first the choicest blessings, a new heart and His Spirit within you, for these are the rarest, the richest and most enduring of all blessings. We ask that He would open the eyes of your understanding to see that He is working upon you spiritual blessings out of Heaven where He dwells, and that you may know that the eyes of the Lord are upon the righteous and His ears are open unto their cry.

We ask also for those open doors which you seek. As the Lord opened the heart of Lydia that she attended to the things spoken, and as He opened the prison doors at Philippi, so He is able to open doors for your family which no man can shut. He can open the windows of Heaven when earth yields no bread, and He can make rivers to flow in high places. Go down on your knees before His promises and say, O Lord, open this word to me, teach me to understand it, and let Christ enter and abide in our house.

May the Lord keep your family in loving unity, may family worship and family prayer be found in your home, and may you cast all your care upon Him who cares for you. We commend you to Him who has blessed us with all spiritual blessings, praying that you may abound in faith and fellowship, and that every need according to His will may be supplied in Christ Jesus. In His most loving name we pray, Amen.
