Please pray for our baby Granddaughter:

1. She was born without working elbows (so she cannot bend her arms).
* So pray for elbows that are fully functioning that can bend & are perfect.

** Her hands that were born bent inwards God has healed....so they are straight & she can now use her hands.... PRAISE THE LORD!!

2. She had an accident playing & hit her outer side of her eyelid, causing an open cut type wound (she was very upset when it happened).
* So pray healing to the cut wound on her eye, & peace to calm her nerves (& remove all trauma to her soul).

3. Greatly delayed speech.
She is only able to say clearly a very select number of words.
* PLEASE pray the Lord will help her brain & mouth/tongue to have full speech ability & that she will praise the Lord every day of her life~!

Thank You saints for your essential voices of prayer & standing in the gap.....each of you has rewards awaiting you from the Lord i believe :)

We join with you in lifting up your precious baby granddaughter before the throne of grace and we rejoice with you over the healing the Lord has already done in her hands, that they are now straight and she can use them. What a testimony of His mercy and power. We give thanks for that miracle and we stand in the gap with you for the complete healing that is still needed.

We are trusting the One who formed her in the womb, for we know she is fearfully and wonderfully made Psalm 139:14 and that He saw her unformed body and ordained all her days. Nothing is too hard for the Lord Jeremiah 32:27 and He is the Lord who heals us Exodus 15:26.

We bring her elbows before the Lord now, asking that He would touch what man cannot, that He would create and restore full function where there is none, that the joints, bones, muscles and tendons would be perfected to bend and move freely for His glory. We also bring the cut wound to her eyelid before Him, asking for rapid and complete healing without infection or scarring, and that her eye itself would be fully protected and preserved. We ask the Lord to heal not only her body but to heal the fright and trauma to her soul, to calm her nerves and give her perfect peace, for He heals the broken in heart, and binds up their wounds Psalm 147:3 and His peace which surpasses all understanding will guard your hearts and your thoughts in Christ Jesus Philippians 4:7.

We also lift up her speech to the Lord. We pray that He would loose her tongue and open her mouth, that He would give clarity to her brain and to the muscles of her mouth and tongue, that she would be given full speech ability and that her words would be used to praise Him every day of her life. We pray that just as He has opened her hands, He will open her lips, for we know that every good gift comes from Him.

We pray together now, Father in heaven, we come before You in the name of Jesus Christ Your Son, thanking You for this little one whom You love so dearly. We thank You for healing her hands and we ask You to complete the work You have begun. Lord touch her elbows and make them whole, that she may bend her arms and lift them to You. Touch the wound on her eyelid and heal it completely, and let no fear or trauma remain in her, but fill her with Your peace and comfort her as only You can. Touch her mind and her mouth, Lord, and give her speech, that her tongue may be loosed and her voice may declare Your wonderful works. We ask that You would strengthen her grandparents and parents, give them faith and endurance, and guide the hands of any doctors and therapists who care for her. Let this child grow to know You and to praise You all her days. We ask all this in the precious name of Jesus, amen.

We want to gently encourage you about the name by which we come to the Father. We notice your request speaks of the Lord, and we rejoice in your faith, and we want to remind you that it is only by the name of Jesus that we have access to God. Jesus said, I am the way, the truth, and the life. No one comes to the Father, except through me John 14:6 and there is salvation in no one else, for there is no other name under heaven that is given among men, by which we must be saved Acts 4:12. It is through faith in Jesus Christ, His death and resurrection for our sins, that we are saved and that our prayers are heard. We encourage you to continue to call upon His name with confidence.

We thank you for allowing us to stand with you in prayer. We will continue to remember her before the Lord, trusting that He who began a good work will be faithful to complete it. May the Lord bless you and keep you and give you peace as you wait upon Him, and may you see His hand at work in her life more and more.

We were touched by your love for your granddaughter and your careful prayers for her. Seeing God straighten her hands and give her use of them is a beautiful mercy, and we rejoice with you in that. We understand why the other needs feel so urgent now.

We are praying with you for her elbows to gain strength and movement, for that cut on her eyelid to heal cleanly and without complication, and for her little mind and mouth to grow in speech so she can express herself and praise God with her own words. We also pray for peace over her after that fright, and for rest for you as you love and support her family.

Alongside prayer, we encourage you to keep her pediatrician closely involved for each of these concerns. Her doctor can guide proper care for the eyelid wound, connect you with the right specialists for her elbows, and point you toward early help for speech if that would be helpful. You are already advocating for her so tenderly.

Father, we lift this precious granddaughter to You in Jesus' name. Touch her eyes and elbows, heal that wound, calm her heart, and help her speech to flourish in Your timing. Give her parents and grandparents wisdom, strength and deep peace as they care for her. Amen.

We join you in prayer before the throne of grace for your precious granddaughter, and we thank the Lord with you for the mercy already shown in the straightening of her hands and the restoring of their use. Praise be to His name, for healing and pardon flow together from the same pierced hand.

We bring before the great Physician the need of her elbows, that He who formed her in the womb would be pleased in His compassion to give strength and suppleness to those joints, that she may bend her arms and use them for His glory. We have been reminded that the leaves of the tree of life were for the healing of the nations, and that even the least thing about Christ is full of healing virtue. There is an abundance of healing power in Jesus Christ, and we ask that this abundance may be shown in her little frame.

We pray also for the wound upon her eyelid. How tender is the eye, which the Lord keeps as the apple of the eye, sensitive and guarded. We ask the Lord to cleanse and close that cut, to keep it from all harm, and to grant perfect healing without blemish. And we ask the same gracious Lord who healeth the broken in heart and bindeth up their wounds to calm her nerves, to quiet all fear and to remove all trauma from her soul, giving her perfect peace and restful sleep.

We lift up her speech before the Lord who looses the tongue. Speech was never put to so noble a purpose as when it is used to praise the Maker, and we pray that the Lord will touch her brain and her mouth and tongue, that full ability may be given her, and that her words, as she grows, may betray that she has been with Jesus. May the Lord even change the tone of her speech, that she may not say, I am sick, but may daily praise Him with a clear voice all the days of her life.

We pray above all that she may early know the pardon that comes with healing, for when Jesus healed the sick of the palsy He first said, Thy sins be forgiven thee. May she be brought to know Christ as Saviour, for that is the chief healing.

We thank you for standing in the gap and for your faithful love to this child. May the Lord hear our united cries and do according to His wise and tender will, for His glory. Amen.
