As war between Israel and Gaza has turned more brutal, it scares the hell out of me. Reportedly 820 Gazans and 13 Israelis are dead. I wish the war would end up as soon as possible. Every time I watch the news, the pain is much deeper as my mother is in Israel; more fear comes along of losing her, but as our strength comes from God, I would pray for her protection and as well as each of the people in Israel and in Gaza. Let's all people pray for Israel and for Gaza.

Lord,

I pray for Israel, Gaza & for the safety & health of this guest's mother. As the battle escalates in that part of the world, many thoughts twirl around our head.... But let our focus be on your faithfulness to us. Please be with all of the families who are hurting from losing someone. Sometimes it seems the end of times is so near, but only you know the proper timing. Help us to remember that everything which happens is part of a bigger & better plan. Let us remember that our true treasure is of the heavenly world, not the earthly world. In the meantime, I pray that you would bring this world peace. Please, Lord, make the bloodshed & brutality come to an end. May each civilization live in peace. May your light shine down on us. Father, please give this guest peace of mind & serenity in knowing that his/her mother is okay. Surround this family with your protection & truth. IN Jesus' holy name I pray, Amen.
