Please pray for my brother Mark who is an alcoholic. He became disabled several years ago because of a devastating back injury, lost his home and good income.
He was put on oxycontin by his physicians and his wife and daughter began using his pain medication and he began to drink and became emotionally abusive to both of them. They need prayer too for addiction use, they have now left the home, his wife after 34 years of marriage and this man used to be strong in the Lord and used to have a wonderful witness. We are all emotionally devastated but we do not know how to help him because he cannot seem to admit he has a drinking problem and I do not honestly feel that he remembers much of the emotional abuse. Things are a mess and all we can do is lean on the good Lord to help us. I am a very strong Christian and I do not know what is going to happen, but I know that God knows what is going to happen and that somehow he will help us through this no matter what we have to face.
