Your daughter and granddaughter are on my heart today. A tropical storm looms, and flights can feel fragile, but the Lord does not hand the wheel over to chance. He who laid the foundations of the earth and set a boundary for the sea is the same One who charts the course of every wind and wave. The storm is not haphazard; it has never left His hand. When Paul was driven across the Mediterranean for fourteen days, the ship breaking apart, the passengers despaired of life itself, yet God had already declared that not a single soul would be lost. The vessel was shattered, but every person made it safely to shore. That same faithful presence goes with your family tonight.

Just as the ancient earth enjoyed a protective blanket, a canopy that shielded life from all harm, so the Lord still wraps His care around those who belong to Him. We do not trust in a metal fuselage or a forecast; we trust in the living God who rides above the storm and calls the stars by name. He is with them in that cabin, over that route, throughout every mile of their journey. When we step onto a plane with a child of God, there is a deep comfort that we are not alone, because His presence travels in a way that no radar can track.

I am praying that their flight will be smooth and their stay secure. But more than that, I am praying they will know the peace that holds steady even when the wind howls. The family of God surrounds them right now, a warmth that crosses any distance. Wherever they land, they are never far from home, because the body of Christ is there. May they feel that embrace in every stranger’s kindness, and may the Lord turn the looming storm into a quiet testimony of His power. He who brought Noah into the ark and shut the door Himself will bring them safely through. You have entrusted them to the Almighty, and His quiver is full of goodness for your household. Rest in that tonight.

We want to thank you for the privilege of standing with you in prayer for your daughter and granddaughter as they traveled to the National Squash Tournament. It was our joy to lift them before the Lord, asking for His protection over their flight and their stay, especially with the concerns of Tropical Storm Bavi nearby.
